Technological artefacts express time periods in their visual design. Due time, visual culture changes and thus affects the design of pictorial representations in technological products, such as icons in user interfaces. Fatigue while driving in a car simulator : effects on vigilance performance and autonomic skin conductance

In this vigilance research the effect of fatigue on driver’s voluntary reaction times (RT) and autonomic skin conductance (SC) was studied. Participants (n=17) drove approximately 3 hours in a simulator responding simultaneously on a peripheral visual vigilance task (PVVT). RTs were classified into 5 quintiles according to their latency. Also misses and misclassifications were explored. Results indicated that RTs increased linearly over time. SC amplitudes differed significantly between RT quintiles. Ievads: Šī literatūras pārskata mērķis ir aprakstīt faktorus, kuri literatūrā minēti kā ietekmējoši ortodontiskās ārstēšanas ilgumu. Pārskata hipotēze bija tāda, ka ilgāks ārstēšanas laiks ir saistīts ar sarežģītāku diagnozi. Metodes: Šajā pārskatā tika izmantoti 133 literatūras avoti angļu valodā no 1945. līdz 2021. gadam, iesaistot bērnus, pusaudžus un pieaugušos pacientus. Rezultāti: Lielākā daļa autoru ziņo, ka ekstrakcijām, II klases sakodienam, retinētiem kanīniem un faktoriem, kas saistīti ar pacienta atbilstību, bija nozīmīga ietekme uz ārstēšanas laiku. The text explains the difference between Marx?s concept of «oppression» and others as «coercion» by Durkheim or «domination» by Weber. The article then establishes, in a methodical way, the centrality of a passage from Capital, in which three different theories on «oppression» appear.
