This PhD addresses the issue of musical time and form in the second half of the XXth century with the joint perspective of composition and perception. The first chapter describes composer’s main conceptions of musical time, compositional strategies, functions and formal models, as well as the main musicological theories concerning musical form. Bakalaura darba “Laika apzīmējumi Homēra Odisejas valodā” mērķis ir izpētīt laika apzīmējumu formu un funkcionējumu Homēra Odisejas valodā. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā apskatīti gan mūsdienu zinātnieku pētījumu materiāli par Homēra eposu Odiseja, gan Aristoteļa teorētiskās atziņas par episko stilu. Apskatīta arī teorētiskā literatūra par vārda semantiku. Darba gaitā tika pētīta laika apzīmējumu nozīme eposa kontekstā. Pētījuma procesā atklāts, ka laika apzīmējumi palīdz saprast laiktelpu, kurā notiek darbība. Measurement of the α ratio and (n,γ) cross section of 235U from 0.2 to 200 eV at n_TOF

We measured the neutron capture-to-fission cross-section ratio (α ratio) and the capture cross section of 235U between 0.2 and 200 eV at the n_TOF facility at CERN. The simultaneous measurement of neutron-induced capture and fission rates was performed by means of the n_TOF BaF2 Total Absorption Calorimeter (TAC), used for detection of γ rays, in combination with a set of micromegas detectors used as fission tagging detectors. New forms of neoliberal femininity create demanding horizons of expectation for young women. For talented athletes, these pressures are intensified by the establishment of dual-career discourses that construct the combination of high-performance sport and education as a normative, ‘ideal’ pathway. Bright Visible Luminescence in Silica Nanoparticles

International audience; We demonstrate that a porous film of silica nanoparticles emits a bright visible luminescence associated with defects stabilized by oxygen chemisorption at oxygen deficient center sites. Time-resolved spectra excited by a tunable laser allow us to distinguish the luminescence at 1.99 eV, characteristic of the nonbridging oxygen hole center (NBOHC) (Si-O)3 Si-O*, and a fast and a slow emission: the first (lifetime τ ≈ 25 ns) is peaked at 2.27 eV with an excitation spectrum centered at 5.5 eV; the second (τ ≈ 7.5 μs) is peaked at 2.41 eV and is excited around 3.2 and 5.2 eV. The subject of the article - developed through the literary and cultural contexts of contemporary literature - concentrates mainly on different forms of the presence of tradition (targeting the Romantic one as key and the Old Polish as the subsequent one). A look at the styles and tones of the literature-"thriving" languages of these traditions allows us to see these traditions in a different critical light (national symbols/Polish signs/patters/transformations).

Time series of remotely sensed data are an important source of information for understanding land cover dynamics. In particular, the fraction of absorbed photosynthetic active radiation (fAPAR) is a key variable in the assessment of vegetation primary production over time. We consider multivariate time series where each component series is an unknown linear combination of latent mutually independent stationary time series. Multivariate financial time series have often periods of low volatility followed by periods of high volatility.
