In this article, social cohesion is presented in terms of belonging, interdependence, integration, sharing, participation, but also as corresponsibility between the different actors present in a territory. The promotion of social cohesion, therefore, essentially has to do with educational interventions aimed at social inclusion. Compared to the more traditional interventions on social emergencies, supporting social cohesion means in fact enhancing relations between members of society and promoting the common good through the collective assumption of responsibility. The role of the school is crucial in this, but also of lifelong learning, therefore the Third Mission of Universities.
Factors affecting social integration and transversal skills of college students: a preliminary study

International audience; This research, as a part of a PhD thesis in educational sciences relates to the social network and the transversal skills developed by the Bachelor's degree students ("Licence") in a French college. Overall, this work aims at identifying and estimating origins and effects of student social integration and transversal skills within the college careers. Four areas of student social integration and ten skills stemming from a reference table are measured by an original questionnaire. Economic Theorizing, Discursive Analysis and Pluralism in the Classroom - Evidence from Postgraduate Teaching in a French University

Can students examine the discursive strategies employed by economists so that the former think critically about the underlying theoretical forces described by the latter? Are economic processes ontologically dependent on the narratives used by economists to account for real phenomena? In this article, we draw both on Wheat's mapping techniques to homogenise theoretical economic discourse and on Pilkington's attempt to combine economics with language for specific purposes. Se aborda esta cuestión a partir del examen de las trayectorias individuales del profesorado de una universidad pública de España en los últimos cuarenta años desde una perspectiva neoinstitucional. Las investigaciones son insuficientes para dirimir si los inicios hasta la consecución de la permanencia han tenido lugar bajo vías ordenadas o bajo vías poco o nada organizadas y en este caso, si el fenómeno es reciente.
