Sildenafilo mejora el test 6 minutos marcha en pacientes con fibrosis pulmonar idiopática (FPI) y disfunción sistólica ventricular derecha. Teniendo esto en cuenta, analizamos el papel previamente inexplorado de sildenafilo en la vasoconstricción y la remodelación de las arterias pulmonares de pacientes con FPI e hipertensión pulmonar (HP) ex vivo/in vitro. Se obtuvieron anillos arteriales pulmonares procedentes de: 18 pulmones sin enfermedad pulmonar, nueve con FPI, ocho con FPI + HP y cuatro con HP. Este artículo estudia el actual estado de cuestión sobre una de las más raras y problemáticas cecas prerromanas de la Península Ibérica. Tradicionalmente descrita como ceca vascona situada en Navarra, debatimos sobre su posible etnómino y ulterior localización. Un nuevo hallazgo procedente de Cigales (Valladolid) permite plantear un giro interpretativo respecto a las antiguas hipótesis, considerando actualmente la situación de la ceca en un lugar más al sur, quizás sobre la cabecera meridional del valle alto del Ebro.

OBJECTIVES: The study aimed to characterise the Polish population of (ANCA)-associated vasculitides (AAV) with respiratory involvement (RI), in comparison to the subgroup without lung manifestations and the other cohorts. METHODS: Retrospective analysis of the Polish population of AAV with RI was conducted, based on data from the POLVAS registry. A marker of early vascular aging (EVA) is aortic pulse wave velocity (aPWV) which is a measure of arterial stiffness. Hypotensive hemostasis in aortic rupture has been showed to be feasible and advantageous, especially in trauma patients. To date, there are no randomized studies on hypotensive hemostasis in patients with ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (rAAA), but observational studies indicate similar advantages when hypotensive hemostasis is used for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) as in trauma patients. Actually, in EVAR for rAAA, a target systolic blood pressure of 90 mmHg or even lower is considered safe in conscious patients. Introduction COVID-19 is an infectious disease that has been associated not only with respiratory complications. The COVID-19 disease includes, also damage to other organ systems as well as coagulopathy. The present report describes a case of COVID-19 presenting with acute mesenteric ischemia (AMI) and subsequent acute limb ischemia (ALI). Presentation of case An 84-years old hospitalized female patient presenting diabetes and recent COVID-19 reported acute onset of abdominal pain and typical findings of AMI.
