Exploring the photothermo-catalytic performance of brookite tio2-ceo2 composites

The thermocatalytic, photocatalytic and photothermo-catalytic oxidation of some volatile organic compounds (VOCs), 2-propanol, ethanol and toluene, was investigated over brookite TiO2-CeO2 composites. The multi-catalytic approach based on the synergistic effect between solar photocatalysis and thermocatalysis led to the considerable decrease in the conversion temperatures of the organic compounds. Visual vocabulary or visual language is a set of symbols used to describe a system or a process; it refers to all graphical representations that supplement a brand image, a logo, and build a brand identity that is bound to remain invariable even when the sign undergoes fundamental changes. The article is a presentation of the concept of visual vocabulary/language and of its relevance to branding and marketing. We argue that these symbols are culturally dependent and a key element in brand design.

The current progress in sequencing projects calls for rapid, reliable and accurate function assignments of gene products. A variety of methods has been designed to annotate sequences on a large scale. However, these methods can either only be applied for specific subsets, or their results are not formalised, or they do not provide precise confidence estimates for their predictions. We have developed a large-scale annotation system that tackles all of these shortcomings. Esta investigación presenta la aportación que la disponibilidad léxica tiene en el marco de la enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera y el ámbito infantil. Para poder desarrollar esta tarea se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica sistemática que presenta a aquellos trabajos publicados sobre léxico disponible. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se ha observado una baja incidencia de investigaciones sobre ELE con población escolar (hasta 12 años), en comparación con corpus adultos.
