The consumption of the soil due to urbanization it is a phenomena already for many years under observations, but of which only the scientific environment has noticed the elevated environmental impact progress. The use of technology enables theatre to modernize its own language and appeal to a younger audience, one less entrenched in tradition. New generations accept and are open to experimentation in a technological climate, contamination and cross-fertilization between art forms. The use of English terminology is evidence of this (virtual theatre, interactive theatre, computer theatre, webcam theatre, electronic theatre, interfaced theatre, … just to cite a few of the most common terms). What seems evident is that digital multimedia both off-line and on-line has reached the stage and its practice in theatrical live performance is in continuous evolution.

Tammikuussa 2008 Nokia päätti lopettaa Saksassa toimivan Bochumin tehtaansa toiminnan ja irtisanoa tehtaan 2 300 työntekijää. Tämä päätös johti uutistulvaan saksalaisessa lehdistössä. Ilmiöstä kehittyi poliittisesti arkaluontoinen, kun saksalaiset poliitikot ottivat oman jyrkän kantansa tapahtumalle ja julistivat boikotin Nokiaa vastaan. Tämän työn tarkoituksena on tarkastella, miten Nokiaa kuvattiin Bochumin tehtaan tapahtumien aikana saksalaisessa Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung -sanomalehdessä. Il testo presenta un analisi multimodale di alcune sequenze durante una lezione di tedesco svoltasi in un liceo linguistico nel Trentino-Alto Adige. Vengono focalizzati i diversi livelli di attenzioni degli apprendenti sia nell'interazione con l'insegnante sia nella comunicazioni tra discenti.
