Experiments on the Virtual City: Three-Dimensional Reconfigurations of Missing, Never Realized or Destroyed Urban Areas

We present two works on the "Virtual City" held at Palermo. They are about the three-dimensional reconfiguration of urban places that show evidence of "invisible" architecture, this is because in one case there were ancient monuments now destroyed, or in another case projects designed for the urban void and never made. The aim is to involve new forms of communication for the development of cultural tourism.

Walking tourism in Malaga: a pilot survey to explore tourism behaviours with a GPS approach

Walking tourism in urban destinations can be defined as a sequence of day visits and/or a sequence of walking tours. In this work, GPS tracking data on spatio-temporal behaviour of walking tourists in Malaga are reported as case study. Malaga is a booming tourist destination characterized by a city centre, particularly suitable for a pedestrian visit. From 22nd January to 19th March 2018 for a total period of 41 days, a survey was carried out with a specific protocol: 103 interviews were conducted and 101 GPS valid tracks were collected. Augustodunum, civitas Aeduorum, roman city founded under the reign of Augustus, was equipped with four roman city gates : the gate of Arroux and the gate of Saint André, both well preserved, the gate of Saint Andoche which sole remaining part is a flanking tower, and the gate of Rome, destroyed long ago.The heart of this study lies in the stratigraphic reading of those gates structure and in thoughts about the building site of Autun’s city gates operating process. Una política juvenil para promover el desarrollo local: un estudio de caso

El artículo presenta un estudio de caso de una política juvenil realizada en la última década en una región del Sur de Italia. Su interés reside en la versatilidad, el enfoque multidimensional y en el hecho de haber actuado como un óptimo instrumento de desarrollo local. El estudio de caso se ha realizado a través del análisis documental de las evaluaciones ex -ante, durante y ex – post que se hicieron para valorar el impacto de la política. La reflexión que el caso propone se enfoca en cómo se puede promover eficazmente el desarrollo local a través de políticas más trasversales.

Gwarantuje on wybór opracowań, które w najlepszy możliwy sposób uwzględniają kryteria zrównoważonego rozwoju miast oraz oferują najwyższą jakość rozwiązań projektowych. Projekty te w późniejszej realizacji mają zasadniczy wpływ na jakość przestrzeni miejskiej.
