How to create international business competences and their impact on firm performance

[EN] This work aims to analyse the effect of the holistic view, continuous learning and information technology infrastructure on the creation of international business competences. The study also investigates whether the creation of this type of competence significantly affects firm performance using the structural equation modelling method of hypothesis testing. Among the changes imposed by the pandemic, from the lockdown onwards, the many reorganizations of spaces and times of community, work and school life are to be stressed. The result has been unprecedented experiences of differently lived spaces and lived times that, even in the current pandemic phase, are redesigning the ways of living, working, teaching, and learning, therefore also of educating. The paper focuses on the new educational temporalities of our time, outlining some emerging phenomena. Hence the need to rethink many aspects of educational care and the sense of being community is highlighted, first of all forming new temporal and relational competences.

The integration of Information and communication technologies (ICT) requires the teachers to be competent, both technologically and pedagogically. In this work, the competences in ICT of teachers are studied, in particular the relationship between the technological competences and the pedagogical competences. For it, it has been used a survey design and a sample, randomly selected, of the non university teachers of the Comunidad Valenciana, to those that have been applied a questionnaire. A Performance-Based Test for Assessing Students’ Online Inquiry Competences in Schools

In this paper, we introduce a performance-based test for measuring adolescents’ competences in online inquiry. The test covers four competence dimensions: (1) searching and selecting relevant sources, (2) identifying the main ideas presented in the sources, (3) evaluating the credibility of the sources, and (4) synthesizing information across the sources. We implement a technological solution called NEURONE to carry out this routine. The scoring of the test data is demonstrated by presenting preliminary results of a case study. Finally, we discuss the strengths and limitations of the test.
