The 1968 earthquake destroyed the Sicilian town Gibellina. The citizens were then moved into a New City drawn by the Institute for Social Building Development ISES in a plain formerly used only for agriculture. How to give identity to an urban infrastructural system spread between fields? Quaroni and Anversa, who were comissioned to construct the building of the main church, combined the necessity of identity with a symbol of the city's rebirth project. This paper studies the Encounter of Knowledge as a project that, by welcoming mestres and mestras of ancestral knowledge into universities, contributes to decolonize higher education, broadening its field of memory. This article asks about the expansion of psychological, therapeutic and self-enhancement ethos through the networks and devices that configures middle and upper-middle classes, and about the ways in which this process is singled out starting from the encounter between coaching and psychology paradigms with golf fans, in contemporary Argentina. The empirical materials that support the analysis have been ethnographically produced from the interaction with golf players and coaches.

The subject of the reflections set out in this article are the issues relating to the subjectivity of a teacher and his competence in the face of civilizing changes. As the title suggests, the study deals with the diversified division of competences both of contemporary man and the teacher. Professional training of educators should include both a grounding in theory and assertions on the subject of man’s development, processes of “finding one’s place” naturally in the world, process educating man with a defined goal (education and upbringing) and processes of his socialization (collectivisation - full time employment - nationalization - politicization - globalization).

In questo articolo rispondo alle critiche e ai commenti alla mia ricostruzione della concezione del potere di Michel Foucault proposti da Bruno Celano, José Juan Moreso, Marco Segatti, Alessandro Spena. Mi concentro in particolare sui seguenti aspetti: la connessione fra la nozione foucaultiana di potere e il conflitto; la distinzione fra potere disciplinare, potere governamentale, e potere normativo; la concezione foucaultiana della libertà come autorialità; ciò che Foucault può suggerire riguardo ad alcune “macchie cieche” della teoria del diritto contemporanea.
