This paper introduces the challenges of studying parliamentary institutions in Southeast Asia. My focus of research is in three countries’ institutions: national parliaments of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The reduction of the reliance on pesticides is a critical aspect in this quest for sustainability. Although professional agency has become an increasingly crucial issue in work organizations, investigators lack a brief instrument to measure it. This paper introduces a short measure to explore professional agency at work. Our aim was to shorten the original 17-item Professional Agency Measure, while also exploring its usability for cross-validating questionnaire datasets, and investigating the relationship between professional agency and work engagement. Sprawne funkcjonowanie systemu profilaktyki zachowań ryzykownych w warunkach szkolnych zależne jest od wielu uwarunkowań. Jednym z wielu jest kultura szkoły, czyli wewnętrzna obyczajowość, nadająca ramy jej funkcjonowaniu. Kultura szkoły jako konstrukcja teoretyczna, opiera się na systemie wartości indywidualnych i zbiorowych wszystkich uczestników teatru szkolnego, wyznaczając kierunek działań wychowawczo-profilaktycznych. Dlatego jednym z najważniejszych zadań współczesnej profilaktyki pozytywnej jest kształtowanie kultury szkoły jako tego obszaru, który modyfikuje, konserwuje i promuje wartości prospołeczne uczniów.
