Abstract Background Nursing students often express uncertainty about clinical placement in a mental health care setting. Simulation with standardized patients may provide an opportunity for students to explore clinical situations in mental health nursing before their clinical placement, thereby increasing these students’ overall satisfaction and confidence levels with regard to mental health nursing. The working alliance is a key element to increase intimate partner violence (IPV) offenders' motivation, adherence to treatment, and active participation in batterer intervention programs (BIPs). The objective of the present study is to assess the psychometric properties and factor structure of the Working Alliance Inventory-Observer Short Version (WAI-O-S) with a sample of IPV offenders. Cette étude statistique s’intéresse aux pratiques de RSE des entreprises de petite taille de la région Bourgogne Franche Comté (BFC), étant donné que ces dernières sont quasi délaissées par la recherche scientifique au profit des grandes entreprises comme démontré par Oueghlissi (2013). Le choix de la région BFC s’explique par l’accès facilité au terrain et le fait que la RSE est à ce jour peu explorée d’un point de vue académique dans cette région. Elle met en avant plusieurs paradoxes que nous présentons dans cette étude.

Volcanic CO2 seeps provide opportunities to investigate the effects of ocean acidification on organisms in the wild. To understand the influence of increasing CO2 concentrations on the metabolic rate (oxygen consumption) and the development of ocellated wrasse early life stages, we ran two field experiments, collecting embryos from nesting sites with different partial pressures of CO2 [pCO2; ambient (400 µatm) and high (800-1000 µatm)] and reciprocally transplanting embryos from ambient- to high-CO2 sites for 30 h. At the end of the 19th century, Spanish carnivals have been marked by the participation of the different tunas or also known as, estudiantinas. These groups achieved significant relevance in Galicia, especially in the city of Compostela, which, year after year, encouraged and supported the formation of groups of this nature to liven up the carnivals in the different Spanish cities.
