Endometrial decidualization is critical for pregnancy establishment and maintenance. This process promotes endometrial remodeling allowing placental cytotrophoblasts (CTBs) invasion up to an appropriate depth to form the maternal-fetal interface. A shallow CTBs invasion compromises healthy pregnancy and it is associated with the development of severe preeclampsia (sPE). Our working hypothesis is that defective decidualization impairs the adaptation of the maternal “soil” ─the decidua─ to be invaded by CTBs and plays a pivotal role in the etiology of sPE. Fault diagnosis of induction motors broken rotor bars by pattern recognition based on noise cancelation

Current signal monitoring (CSM) can be used as an effective tool for diagnosing broken rotor bars fault in induction motors. In this paper, fault diagnosis and classification based on artificial neural networks (ANNs) is done in two stages. In the first stage, a filter is designed to remove irrelevant fault components (such as noise) of current signals. The coefficients of the filter are obtained by least square (LS) algorithm. Then by extracting suitable time domain features from filter's output, a neural network is trained for fault classification. In a retrospective investigation performed in the department of Surgical Odontostomatology of Palermo University Polyclinic from 2012 to 2021, the Author examined 10 cases of cervico-facial actinomycosis, taking into consideration age range, gender distribution, predisposing factors and symptoms. The article discusses the difficulties of diagnosing speaking skills in the situation of matriculation examination, resulting from the specific nature of spoken language varieties and texts implementation in these variants. Factors that should be taken into account when formulating criteria for assessing speech and conversation exams are: complex and holistic structure of spoken speech, transience of audible text, the spontaneity of live speech, the power of nonverbal codes, a significant stigma of a dialog, and the influence of situational context on the course of communicative interaction. Background It is a common opinion that Primary Sjögren Syndrome (pSS) damages the exocrine glands and determines the reduction of secreted saliva, some studies show that there are qualitative anomalies of the mucins produced in saliva, including MUC7, MUC5B, MUC1.
