This article provides a cross-sectional overview of the evolution of music teaching methods over a 160-year timeline. The objective of the study is limited to examining the mainstream trends in the development of methods, or their manifestations, as well as discussing the causes behind them. The objective is also to investigate the methodical state of the 21st century teaching. The data consists of previous studies, music textbooks and learning diaries of class teacher students (N=79). Współczesne tendencje w pedagogice przedszkolnej podkreślają potrzebę stosowania zróżnicowanych form konstruowania procesu dydaktyczno-wychowawczego - pracy zbiorowej, indywidualnej i grupowej. Podjęte w artykule rozważania teoretyczne uzupełniono wynikami badań własnych, przeprowadzonych drogą sondażu diagnostycznego, wśród nauczycielek przedszkoli w województwie opolskim. Analiza rezultatów badań dowiodła, że nauczycielki najczęściej w organizowaniu zajęć dydaktycznych stosują pracę zbiorową, choć najwyższą efektywność i zaangażowanie dzieci dostrzegają w formie indywidualnej.
Grammar and representations: a valuable insight?

In the sociocultural and socioeducational context of Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, grammar is often perceived as a succession of rules to be assimilated in order to apply them in exercises, the central aim being gratification through marks. For this learning public, mostly Arabic, from an educational culture where rote learning is privileged, grammar is deemed indispensable and as difficult as that of Arabic. FFL teachers are facing a major challenge: to design French grammar as a tool for access to meaning, jointly and alongside vocabulary. In this perspective, a passage through the study of representations provides valuable insight.
Nascita e sviluppo della ricerca empirica in campo didattico in Italia

Si ritiene che la ricerca didattica in Italia si sia riavviata intorno al 1950 per il contatto con le scuole statunitensi, per la diffusione delle opere di Dewey e per la nascita dell’Istituto Superiore di Pedagogia della congregazione salesiana. Si ricostruisce il periodo pioneristico della ricerca empirica in campo didattico con il contributo di Calonghi e Visalberghi. Si segnalano alcuni eventi significativi che, intorno alla metà degli anni Settanta, contribuirono all’affermazione della Didattica come scienza dell’insegnamento-apprendimento. Si indicano le principali linee di ricerca empirica in Didattica presenti nell’attuale panorama scientifico italiano.

From single to multi-variable Calculus: a transition?

International audience; We recently used the notion of praxeology from the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic to model the knowledge that is necessary for students to learn in order to succeed in an undergraduate multivariable Calculus course. We considered the presence and absence of elements of the knowledge to be taught, as proposed by curricular documents, in the knowledge to be learned, as indicated by final exams.
