Motivos por los que los emigrantes españoles se inscriben en el registro consular

La inscripción en el registro consular no es obligatoria para los emigrantes españoles. Conlleva, no obstante, una serie de ventajas que propician, antes o después, su realización. En este artículo se identifican y analizan los principales motivos que animan a ello a los emigrantes españoles. Se toman como base fundamental los datos e informaciones obtenidos a través de una encuesta cuantitativa y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a más de cuatro mil españoles residentes en el extranjero. The theoretic-conceptual framework is the Foucauldian governmentality approach and Foucault's four step model of the ethical self-formation of the moral subject. Liga Niepodległości Polski utworzona w 1944 r. stała się polityczną reprezentacją piłsudczyków na emigracji. Przywódcą ruchu został znany dyplomata Juliusz Łukasiewicz. W 1950 r. na stanowisku prezesa zastąpił go Michał Grażyński, były wieloletni wojewoda śląski. Siedzibą władz naczelnych LNP był Londyn, gdzie piłsudczycy wydawali powielany biuletyn „Listy z Londynu”, a następnie czasopismo „Za Wolność i Niepodległość”. W artykule przedstawiono reakcje różnych środowisk emigracyjnych na wybór kardynała Karola Wojtyły na papieża. Analizie poddano najważniejsze tytuły prasy emigracyjnej ukazującej się Wielkiej Brytanii, która była centrum politycznym wychodźstwa oraz we Francji. Wybór Polaka na papieża środowiska emigracyjne uznały powszechnie za wydarzenie historyczne. Niektórzy porównywali je nawet do chrztu Polski. Ta sensacyjna i niespodziewana wiadomość znalazła się na pierwszych stronach prasy emigracyjnej. Niezależnie od różnic politycznych emigranci wyrażali radość i dumę z tego faktu. Pod pseudonimem Gieorgij Pieskow ukrywała się Elena Dejsza, przedstawicielka „młodszego pokolenia” pisarzy pierwszej fali emigracji rosyjskiej, autorka opowieści Zła wieczność (1932). W utworze istotne miejsce zajmuje problematyka tanatologiczna. Rozpatrywana jest ona w różnych aspektach: poruszany jest tu problem samobójstwa, odbieranego jako zwycięstwo nad śmiercią; sporo miejsca poświęca się immortologii — bibliotekarz ma obsesję na punkcie nieśmiertelności; zwraca się także uwagę na starzenie się jako zjawisko towarzyszące umieraniu; dokonuje się też zabójstwa.
