Data were collected through an online based cross-sectional survey between June 29, 2020 and July 12, 2020 in Spain. In questo contributo si pone in evidenza il carattere ancillare della funzione del Consiglio di sicurezza di garanzia dell’esecuzione delle sentenze della Corte rispetto alla funzione di mantenimento della pace e della sicurezza internazionali e ci si sofferma su alcuni meccanismi alternativi di garanzia del rispetto delle sentenze della Corte formatisi nella prassi. Sono in particolare considerati separatamente, da un lato, meccanismi incentrati su organi politici dell’ONU e, da un altro lato, meccanismi a disposizione della Corte stessa.
