La place des femmes dans le football : entre inégalités et discriminations

National audience; Mes travaux portent entre autres sur la féminisation du football et les inégalités qui y subsistent. J’interroge notamment la place prise ou laissée aux femmes dans cet espace encore fortement dominé par les hommes. Mon intervention portera donc sur les formes « subtiles » d’inégalités que vivent les footballeuses en France, malgré un engouement sans précédent de la pratique et une exposition médiatique désormais considérable. La subtilité de ces inégalités reposent notamment la question de la définition ou de la qualification de la notion d’inégalité versus discrimination.
The Association Between Video Gaming and Psychological Functioning

Video gaming is an extremely popular leisure-time activity with more than two billion users worldwide (Newzoo, 2017). However, the media as well as professionals have underscored the potential dangers of excessive video gaming. With the present research, we aimed to shed light on the relation between video gaming and gamers’ psychological functioning. Questionnaires on personality and psychological health as well as video gaming habits were administered to 2,734 individuals (2,377 male, 357 female, Mage = 23.06, SDage = 5.91). Depicting signs and different text genres : Preliminary observations in the corpus of Finnish sign language

In this article we first discuss the different kinds of signs occurring in sign languages and then concentrate on depicting signs, especially on their classification in Finnish Sign Language. Then we briefly describe the corpora of Finland's sign languages (CFINSL). The actual study concerns the occurrences of depicting signs in CFINSL in different text genres, introductions, narratives and free discussions. Depicting signs occurred most frequently in narratives, second most frequently in discussions and least frequently in introductions. Images are produced, used and distributed on an enormous scale. However, the skills of understanding, interpreting and using images as well as thinking and learning in terms of images are taken for granted, and thus, they are not sufficiently taught and developed, especially in higher education.
