This article reports on a simple and straightforward preparation method of poly(amidoamine)s (PAAs) with hetero-difunctional chain ends as well as of several up to now hardly obtainable PAA derivatives of biotechnological interest, such as for instance PAAs of controlled molecular weight and narrow polydispersity mono-functionalized at one end with an acrylamide group, PAAs with star-like molecular architecture, graft-PAA-protein conjugates, “tadpole-like” PAA conjugates with hydrophobic moieties able to self assemble into nanoparticles in aqueous media. Poly(butylene succinate)/MWCNTs nanocomposites with improved dispersion and with nanotubes embedded/immobilized into the polymer matrix were here prepared by an alternative "grafting to" method based on thenitroxide radical coupling reaction. Poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) was grafted on the surface of TEMPO (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy) modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) via a nitroxide radical coupling reaction. Pēcoperācijas ātriju fibrilācija (POĀF) ir biežākā komplikācija pacientiem, kuriem veikta operācija uz atvērtas sirds. Kā rezultātā tā ietekmē morbiditāti, mortalitāti, kā arī palielina finansiālas izmaksas. Pētījuma mērķis ir uzzināt vai ir korelācija starp veiktiem pirms operācijas standarta izmeklējuma rezultātiem un pēcoperācijas ātriju fibrilāciju. Jo nosakot augsta riska pacientu var uzsākt preventīvu ārstēšanu. This study investigated pre- and post-operative evaluation of peripheral nerve injuries and functional outcomes of peripheral nerve regeneration after different type of injuries and different type of treatments. Neuromas/scar neuritis and brachial plexus injuries are specifically addressed; literature and experimental evidence on the outcomes of vascularized nerve grafts are presented.
