An Autonomic System for Intelligent Truck Parking

Traffic and road transport conditions are strongly influenced by the decisions of drivers. The more information they receive, the better decisions may be taken about their behavior. This is especially important in the transport of goods, since drivers are subject to traffic laws about maximum driving time and minimum time rest. In this paper a multi-agent system for negotiated management of parking spaces in road rest areas is presented. This system dynamically adapts itself to the preferences and needs of the drivers of goods about parking requests. AbstractThis article reports the findings from a phenomenographic study of career experts’ conceptions of systems development in lifelong guidance settings. The results show that conceptions of systems development in lifelong guidance varied from minimal, aspirational, strategic to systemic. By exploring the logical relationship between qualitatively different conceptions, it provides policymakers and other stakeholders with a way of holistically viewing the varying levels of lifelong guidance systems development. Este trabajo pretende indagar en algunos factores cognitivos y actitudinales que inciden en la elección y adaptación de los alumnos que ingresan en carreras científicas. Para ello se parte de una revisión teórica sobre las actitudes hacia la ciencia y la orientación vocacional. I-Weed robot : un outil pour l'étude de population de plantes adventices

The I-Weed robot is a small autonomous platform that aims to characterize the vegetation in an inter-row maize crop for a spot spraying: spraying is done only where a weed is detected. This article presents how the robot works and aims to experimentally evaluate the ability to map weeds from a WeedSeeker system (Trimble) embedded on the I-Weed robot. The results are compared to those from an imaging system, used as ground truth. After analyzing a confusion matrix, it reveals that the system is able to correctly geotag plants at 75 % and is ready for a spot spraying.

People at risk for exclusion and vulnerable populations have serious difficulties in accessing the ordinary labour market. Their work insertion is more complicated than that of people with high employability capacities. People's social exclusion risk could be reduced if, among other measures, their access would be facilitated to the accreditation and validation of their professional competences. Kehittämishankkeen eräänä tarkoituksena on antaa kokonaiskuva alakoulun oppilaanohjauksesta sekä osoittaa alakoulun ohjauksen tarpeellisuus. Ohjaus ja opettaminen eivät ole erillisiä, jokainen opettaja on samalla myös ohjaaja. Opetus on parhaimmillaan opiskelun ja oppimisen ohjaamista. Opettajan tehtäviin kuuluu myös kasvatus, oppilaan kasvun ja kehityksen tukeminen. Perusopetuslain mukaan oppijalla on oikeus saada opintojen ohjausta. Questa iniziativa editoriale è stata promossa in una versione ridotta nel libro Il teatro di Augusta Bagiennorum. Dallo studio dei resti all’ipotesi ricostruttiva del progetto architettonico. Il DVD porta a conclusione l’intero progetto di ricerca finalizzato alla restituzione dei principali edifici che furono realizzati nell’antica città romana proposta da Maria Cristina Preacco, funzionario della Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici fino al 2013.
