Governments and international bodies are increasingly attempting to assess ex-ante the impact of their policy proposals. In the SENSOR project, environmental sustainability is assessed by answering a set of policy relevant questions likely to affect goods and services provided by land. The answer is complex and the assessment of future options is very sensitive to scale, how far ahead in time is being considered, and whether the assessment addresses local, regional or global concerns. 05007; Sans développer à nouveau les théories de la justice, il est intéressant de s'intéresser à l'une d'elle en particulier, pour voir comment de façon instrumentale, il est possible de mesurer cette équité, grâce à la construction d'un indicateur particulier. La perspective adoptée par Sen notamment, permet de mesurer la justice par la proportion d'individus se situant sous un seuil. Au niveau du système éducatif, l'approche adoptée consiste à penser "qu'aucun élève ne doit quitter le système éducatif au dessous d'un seuil minimum de compétences pour vivre une vie décente dans une société moderne".

Initially, Sen's Indicator was built to measure the rate of poverty. Its principal advantage is that it considers three dimensions simultaniously: The rate of poverty, the intensity of poverty, the inequality of income distribution among the poor. For the work of GERESE, SEN's Indicator has been adapted for the educational system. We have built two indicators : an indicator of weakness of the students and another for the excellence of the students. I will develop in this text the indicator of weakness.
Reliable numerical solution of a class of nonlinear elliptic problems generated by the Poisson-Boltzmann equation

We consider a class of nonlinear elliptic problems associated with models in biophysics, which are described by the Poisson-Boltzmann equation (PBE). We prove mathematical correctness of the problem, study a suitable class of approximations, and deduce guaranteed and fully computable bounds of approximation errors. Research activities are subject to constant processes of evaluation, which increasingly include the use of bibliometric indicators to support decision-making. This paper presents a model for the individual evaluation of different facets of researchers' work and discusses the interest in using “control” parameters to identify deviations suggesting inappropriate conduct. Development of Removable Visual Impact Indicator or Polymer Composite Materials

The prototype of removable visual impact indicator for thermoset polymer composite materials is developed, and its characteristics are experimentally determined. The indicator is a fabric tape glued by epoxy to the surface of the polymer composite. The tape is impregnated with a composition that provides a visual response at the place of an impact on the composite surface. Ball-drop tests demonstrated the increase of the magnitude of the visual response with the impact energy at different substrate hardnesses. The shelf-life and mode of the tape storage until commissioning are determined. Peel tests showed the ability to remove a used indicator without damaging the surface of the composite.
