Local indicators of spatio-temporal association on linear networks

In this work, we extend the Local Indicators of Spatio-Temporal Association (LISTA) functions (Siino et al. 2018) to the non-Euclidean space of linear networks. We introduce the local version of some inhomogeneous second-order statistics for spatio-temporal point processes on linear networks (Morandi and Mateu, 2019), namely the K-function and the pair correlation function. Following the work of Adelfio et al. Uzyskane wskaźniki posłużyły do oceny określonych kryterium jakości informacji stron WWW. Na podstawie przeprowadzonego badania można stwierdzić, że użyte miary mogą być wykorzystane w procesie doskonalenia jakości informacji w serwisach internetowych.

Recently introduced measures for Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) included in the data from 1997 - 2016 have a role in forecasting out-of-sample values for the future real economic activity for both the euro area and the UK economies. The inclusion of EPU measures, either for the US, the UK or for overall European economies, improves the forecasting ability of models based on standard financial market information, especially for the period before the 2008 global crisis. Definition of Water Meter Substitution Plans based on a Composite Indicator

This paper presents a water meter substitution plan based on a composite "Replacement indicator" which was defined and compared with common substitution strategies based on meter age and on run-to-fail approaches. The methodology was applied to one of the 17 sub-networks in which the Palermo city water distribution network (Italy) is divided. The analysis was carried out considering a substitution budget limitation and the results showed that the use of "Replacement indicator" outperform the classical substitution strategies based on meter age because it takes into account some other variables that may affect meter precision and wearing. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of switching to etanercept treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who already responded to infliximab, but presented side effects. Methods: Charts of 553 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were retrospectively reviewed to select patients who responded to the treatment with infliximab and switched to etanercept because of occurrence of adverse effects.
