2020
Abstract In the last decade or so, the Romanian wine industry has changed and developed greatly, by the increase of wine producers, especially the niche producers, alongside the traditional, big, producers. The paper aims to understand the new tendencies in the field of marketing, that occur on the wine industry of Romania, as well as the changes that take place in the minds and lives of the consumers in the context of the online world, combined with new trends and technologies that can be used by the consumers. Secondly, the paper represents a secondary data analysis of the International and Romanian Wine Industry, in terms of production and consumption, we also presented a short profile o…
Roles of Exogenous Technologies in Vehicle Innovation: Cases from a Japan’s Automotive Parts Manufacturing Firm
2017
This paper explores the roles of technological innovations in the growth of Japan’s motor vehicle industry, mainly from technology spillover perspective from the early 2000s to today. An empirical analysis focusing on business performances, R&D investments, and patent applications taking a noteworthy unique case in Japan was attempted. Empirical analyses on the productivity of patent to technology stock, use of exogenous technologies for their own technological innovation on its Automotive Business Unit elucidated that innovation capabilities, incorporation of exogenous technologies, and profit generation makes a virtuous cycle of continuous technological innovation. Furthermore, we fou…
Musculoskeletal disorders and disability among forest industry workers in lower and higher sickness absence groups: a case-control study
2019
Background: Musculoskeletal wellbeing and disorders and explanatory factors were investigated among forest industry employees. Methods: A new positive approach to maintenance of working ability focuses on being present at work. 140 individuals with low sickness absence (≤1.5% in hours during the past 6.5 years) and 140 controls with higher sickness absence (>1.5%), randomly selected from the source population (n = 636) in workplace clusters (n = 5), were studied. Questionnaire data on functioning, musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) and disability, work ability and wellbeing were collected (response rate 65%) during December 2012–January 2013. 183 employees (mean age 48.5; females 32%) particip…

Nanofilm Low Cost Oxygen Sensors
2009
Abstract The resitivity change of ultra thin metals under air exposure is used for vacuum or inert gas packaging control. In order to reach low cost, single use applications, few nm thin Aluminum layers were deposited on PET substrates and combined with wireless electronic readout circuitry. The sensor respose is characterized by resistance changes and explained in terms of multiphase diffusion mechanisms which are very sensitive to technological parameters.

Internationalization, networks and industry related factors : the case of Finnish digital game industry
2016
Kinetic evidence for the incorporation of the [(pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) (2,2′-bipyridyl)(aquo)rhodium(III)] complex into DPPC vesicles
2008
Abstract The binding of the [(pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) (2,2′-bipyridyl)(aquo)rhodium(III)] complex [Cp*RhIII(bpy)H2O]2+, to l -α-dipalmitoylphosphatidyl choline (DPPC) vesicles has been estimated by studying the kinetics of the electron transfer reaction between the rhodium(III) complex and formiate ions. Kinetic measurements carried out under anaerobic conditions in absence and presence of DPPC show that the total reaction is composed of two steps. The rate of the first reaction increases with the phospholipid concentration, while that of the second process is independent of the concentration of DPPC. This is consistent with a reaction, where the two reacting species are partitioned be…
An…
