The current study deals with the representation of hospital hygiene. The purpose is twofold: 1- to understand how knowledge about hygiene is acquired by nursing staff during their training (effect of the level of knowledge); 2- to identify how this knowledge evolves while practising a job in direct connection with hygiene (effect of practice). Three groups of participants were questioned: nursing staff (nursing executives, nurses and nursing auxiliaries), students training in nursing care (first, second and third year students) and non-specialist students. The purpose of this article is to provide an empirical basis for understanding the issue of resistance within knowledge intensive firms. The paper initially provides a theoretical investigation identifying the research gap within the literature. The research gap further is explored through an empirical research. Research findings derive from the analysis of 11 in-depth interviews taken from a new media consultancy in UK. Moreover, the findings distinctively support that, staff resistance is beyond previously (traditional) assumed polar distinctions. Effective ecosystem-based management requires understanding ecosystem responses to multiple human threats, rather than focusing on single threats. In my case study, I used two composing tasks to examine how the inclusive composing method (OSM) I have developed promotes the achievement of the aims of the new core curriculum for basic education 2014 and realises the core metaphors of learning. I have created a learning triangle tool to determine how the musical contents, the principles for developing working culture and the goals of music teaching, transversal competences and national education are linked with the latter.
