The aim of the PeTEX-project is to establish an e-Learning platform for the development, implementation, and delivery of educational training programs in the field of manufacturing engineering. The PeTEX team designs both: a technical platform for eLearning based on “Moodle” including distributed tele-operated experimentation facilities, and didactic and socio-technical requirements for a successful online learning community. Gap Filling of Biophysical Parameter Time Series with Multi-Output Gaussian Processes

In this work we evaluate multi-output (MO) Gaussian Process (GP) models based on the linear model of coregionalization (LMC) for estimation of biophysical parameter variables under a gap filling setup. In particular, we focus on LAI and fAPAR over rice areas. We show how this problem cannot be solved with standard single-output (SO) GP models, and how the proposed MO-GP models are able to successfully predict these variables even in high missing data regimes, by implicitly performing an across-domain information transfer. Research in Education and Learning Innovation Archives (REALIA) es el nuevo nombre de la revista que desde 2008 y hasta 2018 publicó el Servei de Formació i Innovació Educativa de la Universitat de València.. Al igual que antes lo han hecho otras, en 2019 @tic revista d’innovacióeducativa ha cambiado su nombre. En este texto se repasan los diez años de historia de @tic revista d’innovació educativa, se exponen los motivos de ese cambio y se presentan las novedades introducidas y algunas perspectivas de futuro.

FROM A COLLABORATIVE DESIGNING OF STORYTELLING TO A ROBOTIC AND VIRTUAL WORLD REPRESENTATION

This paper presents an experiential learning lab focused on building a digital storytelling using both robots with LEGO Mindstorms and virtual worlds with Kodu Game Lab. The experiential laboratory (32 hours) has involved 33 children of secondary schools in a collaborative learning setting in formal (school labs) and informal learning context (external cultural association). Bartomeu de Tresbens was a physician, astrologer and philosopher at the service of two kings of the Crown of Aragon, Peter IV the Ceremonious and his son, Duke John, the future John I the Hunter, between 1360 and 1375, approximately. His major work of astrological content has hardly been studied, except for the Llibre de les nativitats (Book of Nativities). Similarly, most of his biography is not known. The documents, which are mainly the correspondence of its relationship with the monarchy, are preserved, but also other records that connect him to the municipalities of Barcelona and Cervera.
