Bakalaura darbā „tiešsaistes video spēļu „Counter Strike” un „League of Legends” spēlētāju interaktīvā komunikācija” tiek pētīta verbālās un neverbālās valodas lietošana un tās pielietojums dažādos komunikācijas kanālos. Papildus pēc iegūtajiem datiem un veiktajiem novērojumiem tiek noskaidrots auditorijas (spēlētāju) viedoklis par komunikācijas saturu un nepieciešamību. Kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros ir izstrādāta turnīru rezultātu reģistrēšanas sistēma spēlei “League of Legends”, kas paredz iespēju reģistrēt spēles turnīru administratoriem informāciju par dažādiem turnīriem un to norises rezultātiem, kā arī dot iespēju pašiem turnīru dalībniekiem un citiem cilvēkiem sekot līdzi turnīru norisei. Analytical Solutions for the Self- and Mutual Inductances of Concentric Coplanar Disk Coils

In this paper, closed-form solutions are presented for the self- and mutual inductances of disk coils which lie concentrically in a plane. The solutions are given as generalized hypergeometric functions which are closely related to elliptic integrals. The method used is a Legendre polynomial expansion of the inductance integral, which renders all integrations straightforward. Excellent numerical agreement with previous studies is obtained. An asymptotic formula for the approach to the ring coil limit is also derived and numerically validated. The methods presented here can be applied to noncoaxial and noncoplanar cases.
Experimental study of $\eta$ meson photoproduction reaction at MAMI

New data for the differential cross sections, polarization observables $T$, $F$, and $E$ in the reaction of $\eta$ photoproduction on proton from the threshold up to a center-of-mass energy of W=1.9 GeV are presented. The data were obtained with the Crystal-Ball/TAPS detector setup at the Glasgow tagged photon facility of the Mainz Microtron MAMI. The polarization measurements were made using a frozen-spin butanol target and circularly polarized photon beam. The results are compared to existing experimental data and different PWA predictions. The study examines the status of a private docent, the academic position which was introduced across the world in the 18th century and which also existed in Latvia from the second half of the 19th century until the end of World War II. The status of the private docent as it used to be understood in Latvia is compared with other countries, mainly considering German-type universities. In Plutarch’s De defectu oraculorum a mysterious voice announces to a ship’s helmsman that «the Great Pan is dead». This enigmatic legend gave rise to two different interpretations crossing the history of European literatures. The first, concerning ritualism and folklore, connects this episode to the death of vegetations’s God (Tammuz, Adonis) or of another demonic entity. According to the second, common in Christian authors, Pan is the same crucifix Jesus or, on the contrary, the paganism defeated by his death. Gabriele D’Annunzio overturns announcement’s meaning and proclaims that «the Great Pan is not dead».

Two centuries later, the legend Chopin-Sand continues to supply the collective imaginary with vague readings, where historical truthfulness, let alone musical truth, is often contingent on the literary. The much discussed and bellicose romance between the Polish composer and the French novelist, George Sand, tends to some reductionism and evades an obvious reality: Fryderyk Chopin meets George Sand when she was already the mother of two children. This circumstance suggests reformulating certain romantic stereotypes.
