Per chi ama il cinema francese "La mia notte con Maud" di Eric Rohmer, terzo dei suoi "Racconti morali", è un piacere da vivere e condividere. Accanto al film c’è un’altra storia, quella di un testo al plurale: nato come novella nel 1944, sceneggiato in successive versioni, realizzato nel 1969 e riconsegnato alla sua forma narrativa nel 1974. Solo sullo schermo "Maud" trova la sua pienezza, senza però nascondere la nostalgia della scrittura. Una struttura perfetta, una trama che si apre ad altre trame, un film da vedere e rivedere in una notte da cui non vorremmo mai uscire.

The triad 'colonialism, guilt and consequent punishment, payable with mental or physical illness if not with death’, is frequently detectable in the literary texts that focus on the latest phase of Italian Colonialism.
