Korzystanie przez Polskę ze środków unijnych bywa kontestowane. Wydaje się konieczna i rzetelna ocena w różnych obszarach naszego życia społecznego, zwłaszcza w edukacji, zakresu i sposobu ich wykorzystania. Środki unijne w dużym stopniu wsparły różne działania. Jednak od nas samych zależy na co je wykorzystamy i jak je spożytkujemy. Lai gan netrūkst pētījumu par jautājumiem, kas saistīti ar ātro modi, ilgtspējīgu patēriņu, plašsaziņas līdzekļiem un pārliecinošo diskursu, ir salīdzinoši nedaudz pētījumu, kuros pievērsta uzmanība ātrās modes pārliecinošajai valodai, salīdzinot to ar ilgtspējīgu patēriņu.Tādēļ bakalaura darba mērķis ir noteikt pārliecināšanas līdzekļus, kas tiek lietoti, diskutējot par ātrās modes un ilgtspējības tēmām. Pētījums ir veikts, izmantojot satura analīzi. Bakalaura darba tiek pētīti stilistiski līdzekļi ar pārtiku saistītās drukas reklāmās. Reklāma ir īpaši nozīmīga un izplatīta mūsdienu sabiedrībā, tāpat kā nepieciešamība pēc zinātniskiem pētījumiem un izpratne par tās ietekmes sfērām, kas lielā mērā nosaka reklāmas tekstu lingvistiskās un stilistiskās iezīmes. Darbā tiek pētīti stilistiski pārtikas produktu reklāmas līdzekļi, ko izmanto vadošie starptautiskie pārtikas mazumtirgotāji, kas darbojas Latvijas tirgū. Modified total variation regularization using fuzzy complement for image denoising

In this paper, we propose a denoising algorithm based on the Total Variation (TV) model. Specifically, we associate to the regularization term of the Rodin-Osher-Fatimi (ROF) functional a small weight whenever denoising is performed in edge and texture regions, which means less regularization and more details preservation. On the other hand, a large weight is associated if the region being filtered is smooth which means noise will be well suppressed. The weight computation is inspired from the fuzzy edge complement. Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta saistība starp verbāliem un neverbāliem līdzekļiem, lai panāktu komunikatīvu mērķtiecīgumu lietišķajās prezentācijās. Darba mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt verbālo un neverbālo līdzekļu lietojumu un savienojumu lietišķajās prezentācijās, ko veic trīs profesionāli runātāji. Pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai ir izvēlēts literatūras apskats un gadījumu izpēte ka pētījuma metodes. Jews in the discourse of the Catholic Church The article describes the most important changes which appeared after the Second Vatican Council in the discourse of the Catholic Church in reference to its attitude to confessors of Judaism. The change is the difference between the state of texts in two different moments, which is why the first part of the article is dedicated to the characteristics of pre-Council (and mostly pre-war) discourse about Jews, and the second part to main directions of the changes caused by the realization of the Council postulates. Bakalaura darba “Laika apzīmējumi Homēra Odisejas valodā” mērķis ir izpētīt laika apzīmējumu formu un funkcionējumu Homēra Odisejas valodā. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā apskatīti gan mūsdienu zinātnieku pētījumu materiāli par Homēra eposu Odiseja, gan Aristoteļa teorētiskās atziņas par episko stilu. Apskatīta arī teorētiskā literatūra par vārda semantiku. Darba gaitā tika pētīta laika apzīmējumu nozīme eposa kontekstā. Pētījuma procesā atklāts, ka laika apzīmējumi palīdz saprast laiktelpu, kurā notiek darbība.
