Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have opened new educational possibilities for learners around the world. Numerous providers have emerged, which usually have different targets (geographical, topics or language), but most of the research and spotlight has been concentrated on the global providers and studies with limited generalizability. In this work we apply a multi-platform approach generating a joint and comparable analysis with data from millions of learners and more than ten MOOC providers that have partnered to conduct this study. Inuentiones and translationes of the relics are part of the hagiographic dossier of a saint and provide interesting information about his cult over the centuries. For S. Mercurius of Caesarea the original texts in Greek have been lost, but we have two collections miracles in Coptic that narrate the inuentio and translatio of his relics and there is also a medieval tradition about his translatio to Benevento (Italy). From all these texts is deduced a healing cult of S. Mercurius based on the usual topics.

The recent discovery of mirror neurons has rivived the gestural-imitative theory of the origin of language advocated by Condillac in the XVIIIth century. Condillac develops this theory in two stages: in the Essai (1746) he proposes a gestural theory based on the arbitrariness of the sign, while in the Grammaire (1775) he refuses arbitrariness and accepts the theory of analogy and natural imitation proposed by Charles de Brosses (1765). Abstract An analytical method was developed and validated for the analysis of 32 halogenated flame retardants (HFRs), including 13 polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), 9 dechlorane-related compounds (DRCs) and 10 of the so-called alternative BFRs in food samples of animal origin. Artificial populations of holm oak (Quercus ilex L. s.l.) and their natural seed origin populations selected from Andalusia (Southern Spain) and Sicily (Southern Italy) were analysed with six nuclear microsatellite loci to explore the effect of seed collection methods. Low effective allele numbers (3.07-6.67) and extremely low effective populations sizes (35.4-102.9) were detected in both reforestation stands, probably due to an inappropriate forester seed collection strategy limited to a few mother trees. Large-scale Cosmic-Ray Anisotropies above 4 EeV Measured by the Pierre Auger Observatory

We present a detailed study of the large-scale anisotropies of cosmic rays with energies above 4 EeV measured using the Pierre Auger Observatory. For the energy bins [4,8] EeV and $E\geq 8$ EeV, the most significant signal is a dipolar modulation in right ascension at energies above 8 EeV, as previously reported. In this paper we further scrutinize the highest-energy bin by splitting it into three energy ranges. We find that the amplitude of the dipole increases with energy above 4 EeV. The growth can be fitted with a power law with index $\beta=0.79\pm 0.19$.
