The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the metformin administration in patients with previous reproductive failures. Inclusion criteria: 13 patients with chronic anovulation and PCOS, age < 38 years old, sterility not less than 2 years, C.C. resistance, conception failure in previous cycles with only r-FSH and negativity to the multiple miscarriages tests, absence of others infertility factors. Metformin administration started 2 months before the ovulation induction. Alternatively a spontaneous menstruation it was induced by progestin. The aim of the present study was to demonstrate the cost of obese patients affected by endometrial cancer undergoing open surgery compared with minimally invasive surgery. In the retrospective cohort study (Canadian Task Force classification II-2), the economic expenditure in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases of the selected patients was evaluated. Costs were analyzed for all blood tests, instrumental examinations, consultations, operating materials, drugs, gynecological examinations, hospital stay, intensive care hospitalization and management of operative complications. Objectives: This study aims to show the treatment outcome in women affected by isolated bladder endometriosis who underwent laparoscopic surgery in our units. Only women with deep nodules located in the bladder were selected, thus excluding women with deep lesions located in other sites.
