Edizione dei quattro testamenti di Matteo Sclafani (1333, 1345, 1348, 1354). La lettura dei quattro testamenti permette di delineare la parabola della vita del conte di Adernò, dall'ascesa ai vertici della società siciliana del Trecento, all'espulsione da Palermo e al sequestro dei beni. La comparazione dei testamenti permette, inoltre, di ricostruire il ruolo politico- economico e militare dello Sclafani e i suoi rapporti familiari.

La stereotomia nella cattedra di Architettura statica di Carlo Giachery

La scuola di architettura di Palermo, sin dalla sua fondazione nel 1779, con la creazione della cattedra di Architettura civile affidata a Giuseppe Venanzio Marvuglia, era divenuta inevitabilmente il luogo di verifica e talvolta di esplorazione dei temi legati alla pratica professionale e, quindi, all’arte del costruire. Giachery, Professore di Architettura statica e civile dal 1837 al 1865, è il primo ad avvertire, da docente, la crisi profonda del sistema didattico della scuola di architettura di Palermo isterilita dalla ricerca di astratte idealità neoclassiche e straniatasi dal processo evolutivo della cultura architettonica europea dopo la morte dei “maestri” Marviglia e Gentile. The School of Architecture of Palermo since its founding in 1779 with the creation of the chair of Civil Architecture entrusted to Joseph Venantius Marvuglia has become the place of testing exploration of issues related to professional practice and the art of building. Carlo Giachery Professor of Static and Civil Architecture from 1837 to 1865 is the first to feel the deep crisis of the educational system of the school of architecture of Palermo. For him architecture and applied sciences to architecture found in their stereotomy confirmation of the existence of correspondent relationships in their evolutionary process. The notion of stereotomy taken by Carlo Giachery in teaching reconnects directly to the noble art of coupe des pierres. Appropriazione e (ri)semantizzazione dello spazio urbano: lo sport in una piazza palermitana

Il contributo, attraverso uno studio di campo, con un approccio geografico culturale esplora le modalità attraverso cui uno spazio urbano, piazza Vittorio Emanuele Orlando a Palermo, può essere oggetto di complessi processi di (ri)semantizzazione. La piazza diviene infatti luogo per sport giovanili improvvisati, al centro di dialettiche opposte (ufficialità/improvisazione) e di forme multistratificate di socialità e aggregazione.

The chapter through a field study with a cultural geographical approach explores the ways in which urban space Piazza Vittorio Emanuele Orlando in Palermo can be the subject of complex processes of (re) semantization. In fact the square becomes a place for improvised youth sports at the center of opposing dialectics (official/improvisation) and multi-layered forms of socializing and aggregation.

Una nuova acquisizione iconografica per la ricostruzione della tribuna di Antonello Gagini nella Cattedrale di Palermo

La recente digitalizzazione di un dipinto di anonimo siciliano nelle collezioni del Museo de Historia di Madrid e il suo inserimento nei database del patrimonio culturale spagnolo ed europeo ha consentito di riportare all’attenzione della comunità scientifica un’importante raffigurazione pittorica della tribuna di Antonello Gagini nella Cattedrale di Palermo. Dopo avere ripercorso le principali fonti documentarie ed iconografiche relative alla tribuna, viene qui presentata l’opera oggi a Madrid, che fornisce un prezioso riscontro alle fonti fin qui note.

The recent digitisation of a painting by an anonymous Sicilian in the collections of the Museo de Historia in Madrid and its inclusion in the Spanish and European cultural heritage databases has made it possible to bring an important pictorial representation of Antonello Gagini’s tribune in Palermo Cathedral back to the attention of the scientific community. After reviewing the main documentary and iconographic sources relating to the tribune the work now in Madrid is presented here which provides a valuable comparison to the sources known so far.

Il contributo intende far riflettere sul tema della formazione dei futuri insegnanti di scuola primaria, a partire dall’impiego dell’e-portfolio come dispositivo innovativo per promuovere l’acquisizione della competenza riflessiva e autovalutativa all’interno della flipped classroom. La ricerca, che ha coinvolto 154 studenti del Corso di laurea magistrale in Scienze della Formazione Primaria dell’Università degli Studi di Palermo, che frequentavano il corso di Docimologia nell’anno accademico 2020/2021, presenta i presupposti teorici, gli obiettivi e le modalità operative di un percorso che ha visto l’impiego dell’e-portfolio nella flipped per promuovere lo sviluppo delle competenze docimol…

The study aims to reflect on the training of future primary school teachers by starting from the use of the e-portfolio as an innovative tool to promote the acquisition of reflective and self-evaluation competence within the flipped classroom. The research involved 154 students of Primary Education Master’s Degree Course of the University of Palermo attending to the Docimology course during the academic year 2020/2021. This paper presents the theoretical assumptions objectives and operating methods of a path that made the use of the e-portfolio in flipped classroom to promote the development of docimological skills in higher education.
