Cilvēka 14. hromosomas proteasomu gēnu polimorfismu asociāciju ar multiplo sklerozi izpēte Latvijas populācijā

Proteasomālo gēnu polimorfismi ir autoimūnu slimību riska faktori. Lai novērtētu potenciālus multiplās sklerozes (MS) biomarķierus Latvijas populācijā, veicām proteasomālo gēnu PSMA6 un PSMC6 polimorfismu genotipēšanu 280 pacientiem ar MS diagnozi, ko salīdzinājām ar iepriekš ievāktiem datiem no 305 kontrolēm ar mērķi izpētīt iespējamo asociāciju starp šo lokusu polimorfismiem un MS. Tālākā analīzē kombinācijā ar iepriekšējiem PSMA3 polimorfismu genotipēšanas datiem atradām divus klīniski nozīmīgus multi-lokusu genotipus un trīs klīniski nozīmīgus haplotipus. Covid-19 pandēmija izraisīja ievērojamus traucējumus uzņēmumu saimnieciskajā darbībā, īpaši viesmīlības sektorā. Izmitināšanas un ēdināšanas uzņēmumiem bija pilnībā vai daļēji jāierobežo sava darbība, līdz ar to tie stipri cieta no finansiālajām grūtībām pandēmijas dēļ. Baltijas valstīs tika izstrādāta ekonomiskā politika, kuras mērķis bija palīdzēt uzņēmumiem pārvarēt šīs grūtības. Šajā darbā tika izpētītas valsts atbalsta programmas un noskaidrota to ietekme uz viesmīlības sektora uzņēmumiem. Darba mērķis tika sasniegts, aptaujājot izmitināšanas un ēdināšanas uzņēmumus no Latvijas, Igaunijas un Lietuvas. To develop complementary baculovirus-based tools for gene delivery and display technologies, the interaction of occlusion-derived baculovirus (ODV) with human cells, and the functionality of the P74 ODV envelope protein for display of the IgG-binding Z domains (ZZP74) were evaluated. The cellular binding of ODV was concentration-dependent and saturable. Only minority of the bound virions were internalized at both 37 and 4 degrees C, suggesting usage of direct membrane fusion as the entry mode.
