A Dataset of Annotated Omnidirectional Videos for Distancing Applications

Omnidirectional (or 360°) cameras are acquisition devices that, in the next few years, could have a big impact on video surveillance applications, research, and industry, as they can record a spherical view of a whole environment from every perspective. This paper presents two new contributions to the research community: the CVIP360 dataset, an annotated dataset of 360° videos for distancing applications, and a new method to estimate the distances of objects in a scene from a single 360° image. This paper aims at examining the impact of eTwinning experience on empowering future teachers’ intercultural awareness within two different international eTwinning projects. The first project “What kind of World do we want?” has been given start in October 2021 and apart from University of Palermo it involves two different universities from Turkey. L’objectiu d’aquest article és descriure i analitzar alguns projectes d’educació literària realitzats durant els últims vuit anys en el marc de la formació de docents per tal de reflexionar sobre la importància de l’ús de metodologies actives i competencials per l’ensenyament de la literatura al context universitari. La presente investigación tiene como finalidad describir cómo la ciudadanía ha contribuido a la elaboración de un Diagnóstico Territorial de Empleo (DET) promovido por la Generalitat Valenciana, previo al diseño de futuras políticas públicas para el fomento del empleo, en tres municipios alicantinos. Se consiguió a través de una Investigación-Acción-Participación (IAP). BACKGROUND: We investigated the feasibility and advantages of introducing Laparoscopic Neuro-Navigation (LANN) into the field of laparoscopic gynecologic radical pelvic surgery. STUDY DESIGN: In a prospective pilot study, 261 consecutive patients underwent laparoscopic radical pelvic surgery for cervical cancer or deep infiltrating endometriosis of the parametria. During the procedure, dissection and electrostimulation, and consequently, sparing of the pelvic parasympathetic nerves by transection of the parametria, were performed.
