ARC FAULT DETECTION EQUIPMENT AND METHOD USING LOW FREQUENCY HARMONIC CURRENT ANALYSIS

An arc fault detection circuit includes a current sensing circuit coupled to a line conductor carrying a current. The current sensing circuit operates to sense current and output data indicative of the sensed current. A processing circuit implements a frequency transform algorithm to transform the output data to frequency data in a low frequency range and with a high spectral resolution where a minimum short time observation window is concerned. The processing circuit identifies an arc fault condition on the line conductor by identifying differences in said frequency data between at least two subsequent observation windows and identifying characteristics which exceed thresholds.

The purpose of this paper is to offer some reflection on the importance of reliable green claims to encourage sustainable production. The role of market is fundamental. Businesses and consumers are both involved in achieving environmental protection objectives. There is the real risk of the phenomenon of so-called green washing or misleading marketing. The problem arises of verifying the reliability of green claims to prevent competitive elements from become distorting factors of competition.

The essay analyzes the category of remedy by reviewing the main conceptions which have emerged so far. Useful elements are drawn from the critical analysis of the most articulated these, providing a notion of remedy able to highlight its essential feauteres, its applicative potential and its limits. To this end, the essay deals with some emblematic cases in which there has been too loose a use of the category of remedy. The end of the study illustrates a notion of remedy that appears more rigorous and more in keeping with the characteristics if the iurisdictio.

The paper investigates the legal issues concerning online platform for restaurants. A coherent regulatory framework of these platforms is proposed, considering the P2B and B2C relationships involved in their activities, with a focus on the protection of food choices and personal data entered by users. While for the P2B issues the European legislation lay down by Reg. EU n. 1150/2019 and the previous Dir. 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce is involved; the B2C issues are discussed considering the regulation on unfair commercial practices provided by Dir. n. 2005/29/EC and, specifically, Reg. The aim of this contribution is to provide a critical review of the case law of ABF on wrapping, a trilateral operation whose purpose is to finance the purchase of a car. After having reconstructed the rationale of the discipline of linked contracts in the Testo Unico Bancario, the contribution criticizes ABF’s rulings that recognize a bilateral link between the wrapping contract and the credit contract, and provides that, due to the breach of the wrapping contract, the concrete purpose pursued by the parties with the purchase contract is impossibile to achieve
