This thesis aims to explore new research opportunities in the food field, proposing to explicitly include psychological factors as potential determinants of food choice process. Low-cost wireless measurement of objects' temperature is one of the greatest expectation of radiofrequency identification technology for the so many applications in cold supply-chain control and safety assessment in general. Design and Characterization of Effective Ag, Pt and AgPt Nanoparticles to H2O2 Electrosensing from Scrapped Printed Electrodes

The use of disposable screen-printed electrodes (SPEs) has extraordinarily grown in the last years. In this paper, conductive inks from scrapped SPEs were removed by acid leaching, providing high value feedstocks suitable for the electrochemical deposition of Ag, Pt and Ag core-Pt shell-like bimetallic (AgPt) nanoparticles, onto screen-printed carbon electrodes (ML@SPCEs, M = Ag, Pt or AgPt, L = metal nanoparticles from leaching solutions). Šī darba ietvaros ir apzinātipašreizējie risinājumus skeitborda triku atpazīšanā, kā arī izstrādāts jauns risinājums, kas sevīietver papildus sensoru izvietošanu uz sportista ķermeņa. Darbā tiek salīdzinātas dažādasmašīnmācīšanās metodes triku klasificēšanai, kā arī izpētīta papildus sensoru ietekme uzprecizitāti, palielinot atpazīstamo triku skaitu.

Maģistra darbā pētītas un analizētas smaku piesārņojuma koncentrācijas noteikšanas iespējas, izmantojot alvas oksīda elektroķīmiskos gāzu sensorus Figaro TGS: 2600; 2602; 2603; 2620. Darba izstrādes gaitā izstrādāts sensora kalibrācijas algoritms toluolam, benzolam un etanolam un novērtēta 4 dažādu sensoru spēja reaģēt dažādos piesārņotības līmeņa lauka apstākļos (mēslota un pūstošu kāpostu lauka, bijušās lopkautuves – esošā cūkkopības uzņēmuma tuvumā, Rīgas Brīvostas uzņēmumu apkārtnē un piena pārstrādes uzņēmuma notekūdeņu attīrīšanas iekārtu tuvumā). Darbā ir apzināts iepriekšminēto gāzu sensoru potenciāls un izvērtētas iespējas veikt vielu kvantitatīvu analīzi.

Od wielu lat ślimaki lądowe rodzaju Helicidae pełnią rolę luksusowego surowca spożywczego. Ich spożycie oscylujące wokół 40 tysięcy ton rocznie co dało początek idei hodowli fermowych ślimaków lądowych. Pojawił się również pomysł wykorzystania ich wydzieliny w produktach kosmetycznych o działaniu leczniczo-upiększającym. Śluz ze ślimaka wykazuje, m.in. właściwości: regenerujące, ochronne, przeciwzapalne, nawilżające, zwiększające elastyczność skóry.
