Games without repetitions on graphs with vertex disjoint cycles are considered. We show that the problem finding of the game partition in this class reduces to this problem for trees. A method of finding of the game partition for trees have been given in [2].

Absolute continuity of mappings with finite geometric distortion

We show that a continuous, sense-preserving, open and discrete mapping of finite geometric outer distortion with KO(·,f) ∈ L 1/(n 1) loc () is absolutely continuous on almost every line parallel to the coordinate axes. Moreover, if U ⊂ is an open set with N(f,U) 0 depends only on n and on the maximum multiplicity N(f,U).

Fixed points in weak non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces

Mihet [Fuzzy $\psi$-contractive mappings in non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 159 (2008) 739-744] proved a theorem which assures the existence of a fixed point for fuzzy $\psi$-contractive mappings in the framework of complete non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces. Motivated by this, we introduce a notion of weak non-Archimedean fuzzy metric space and prove that the weak non-Archimedean fuzzy metric induces a Hausdorff topology. We utilize this new notion to obtain some common fixed point results for a pair of generalized contractive type mappings.

The Equationally-Defined Commutator in Quasivarieties Generated by Two-Element Algebras

The notion of the equationally-defined commutator was introduced and thoroughly investigated in (Czelakowski, 2015). In this work the properties of the equationally-defined commutator in quasivarieties generated by two-element algebras are examined. It is proved: If a quasivariety Q is generated by a finite set of two-element algebras, then the equationally-defined commutator of Q is additive (Theorem 3.1) Moreover it satisfies the associativity law (Theorem 3.6). Goal-setting strategy and psychological differences in marathon runners compared by gender

Prior to a marathon race, we conducted a cross sectional study with 122 male and 18 female recreational runners at the Expo. Demographic information, running experience, competition level, training details, goal and finishing times, and PODIUM questionnaire on psychological state variables were collected. Motivation, training volume, experience, and relative performance were comparable between male and female marathon runners. On the Online Classification of Data Streams Using Weak Estimators

In this paper, we propose a novel online classifier for complex data streams which are generated from non-stationary stochastic properties. Instead of using a single training model and counters to keep important data statistics, the introduced online classifier scheme provides a real-time self-adjusting learning model. The learning model utilizes the multiplication-based update algorithm of the Stochastic Learning Weak Estimator (SLWE) at each time instant as a new labeled instance arrives. Basis set and correlation effects in the calculation of accurate gas phase dimerization energies of two M+2 to give M2+4 (M = S, Se)

The dimerization energies of two M2+ to give M42+ (M = S, Se) were calcd. They depend strongly on the size of the basis set and the correlation method used (ranging from 217 to 522 kJ/mol, M = S) and, therefore, a systematic study of basis set and correlation effects was performed [MP2, MP3, MP4(SDQ), CCSD, CCSD(T)]. The open shell (SC)(2)-CAS-SDCI method along with a basis set of atomic natural orbitals (ANO) has been applied for calculating the main ionization potentials of acetylene, as well as the manifold of excited states of the different symmetries up to 32 eV. On a topology optimization problem governed by two-dimensional Helmholtz equation

The paper deals with a class of shape/topology optimization problems governed by the Helmholtz equation in 2D. To guarantee the existence of minimizers, the relaxation is necessary. Two numerical methods for solving such problems are proposed and theoretically justified: a direct discretization of the relaxed formulation and a level set parametrization of shapes by means of radial basis functions. Numerical experiments are given.
