In this dissertation, the dynamics between leader and follower is the focus. This dissertation contributes to knowledge and understanding of the leader-member exchange (LMX) theory in Chinese organizational settings. The research has three aims. The first aim is to increase knowledge of the LMX theory by contextualizing the theory in the Chinese setting. Drawing upon discussion of the role of guanxi, Chinese social values is elaborated in LMX. The second aim is to analyze the connections between LMX, ethical culture of an organization and employee work engagement. Fenoliformaldehydihartsia valmistetaan fenolista ja formaldehydistä, joka toimii ristisilloitusagenttina. Katalyyttinä käytetään natriumhydroksidia. Formaldehydi liittyy fenolin renkaaseen hydroksyyliryhmän para- tai orto-asemiin additioreaktiolla alkalisissa olosuhteissa. Fenolin alkalointi saa aikaa renkaaseen karbanioneja, joihin formaldehydin elektrofiilinen hiiliatomi voi liittyä. Reaktio tunnetaan Lederer-Manasse-reaktiona. Ligniini on amorfinen biopolymeeri, jota saadaan esimerkiksi sulfaattiprosessin sivutuotteena. Erityisesti poikien lukutaidon heikkeneminen on herättänyt huolta. Poikien lukutaito on peruskoulun päättövaiheessa tyttöjen lukutaitoa heikompaa. Lukutaito ja lukuharrastuneisuus ovat toisiaan ruokkivia ja toisistaan riippuvaisia. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa hyvän sisällön piirteiden merkitystä sidosryhmien sitouttamisessa natiivisisällöillä. Natiivisisältöjen tuottaminen yleistyy osana organisaatioiden sidosryhmille kohdentamaa viestintää ja tästä syystä on tarpeellista tutkia sitouttavan sisällön piirteiden merkitystä sisällön sitouttavuuden onnistumiselle. Tarkastelun kohteeksi valitut piirteet olivat aitous, uskottavuus ja läpinäkyvyys. Plants respond to insect oviposition by emission of oviposition-induced plant volatiles (OIPVs) which can recruit egg parasitoids of the attacking herbivore. To date, studies demonstrating egg parasitoid attraction to OIPVs have been carried out in tritrophic systems consisting of one species each of plant, herbivore host, and the associated egg parasitoid. Less attention has been given to plants experiencing multiple attacks by host and non-host herbivores that potentially could interfere with the recruitment of egg parasitoids as a result of modifications to the OIPV blend. How Comprehensive School Students Perceive their Psychosocial School Environment

The aim of this study was to describe students’ perceptions of their psychosocial school environment and to examine the associations between such perceptions and students’ perceived school performance. Our analyses were based on data from the Health Behaviour in School‐Aged Children 2006 study, involving responses by Finnish students from grades 7 and 9. The results indicated that students’ perceptions of their school environment were fairly positive, but that a remarkably large proportion of the students reported negative attitudes towards school.
