Learning musical skills is often associated with face-to-face teaching. Few studies on musical skill learning through asynchronous e-learning have been conducted; however, the demand for e-learning has increased due to multiform learning and individual education paths, unrestricted by time and place. Physical education teacher education (PETE) became an academic discipline in 1963 in Finland at the University of Jyväskylä, which remains the only site for physical education teacher education in the country. All qualified PE teachers in Finland are educated to master’s level. This thesis describes the content formation of PE teacher education in its 50 years’ history in Finland. This paper aims at examining the impact of eTwinning experience on empowering future teachers’ intercultural awareness within two different international eTwinning projects. The first project “What kind of World do we want?” has been given start in October 2021 and apart from University of Palermo it involves two different universities from Turkey. We enhance the understanding of informal formative assessment and dialogicity by considering their relationship. Even though the interconnection of informal formative assessment and dialogicity is acknowledged, it has not been explicitly examined in research on educational dialogue.
