Finnish Classroom Teacher Students' Experiences of an Online Music Course During The COVID pandemic

When studying music, skills are often practised with a teacher, face-to-face, in a classroom. What are the experiences of classroom teacher trainees when music teaching becomes asynchronous, i.e., an individually completed online course? This question, among other things, was explored at a Finnish University's Teacher Education Department in autumn 2020, resulting in the production of a two-credit online music course on the Moodle learning environment. Raising the Profile of Sign Language Teachers in Finland

Sign language teaching in Finland has a long history. In contrast, sign language teacher training programs and research into the sign languages of Finland both know a short history. Due to this contrast, the field of sign language teaching nowadays can be seen as the ‘Wild West’. Till today, teachers from different backgrounds do teach sign language. We do not have a clear picture of what knowledge or competencies are expected from these teachers. La ricerca «Telemaco» è stata svolta per promuovere una partecipazione attiva e responsabile degli studenti universitari alla didattica universitaria. A tal fine, si è ritenuto opportuno preparare tale partecipazione mediante l’applicazione di due metodi d’intervento con cui migliorare il loro senso di autoefficacia, la loro capacità di gestire l’ansia da prestazione e l’immagine del loro «sé» attuale: la scrittura espressiva e il tutoraggio tra pari. International audience; The main objective of this study is to test the perception of the vowel /y/ among the Polish learners of FLE, as it does not exist in their natural vowel system. We defend the hypothesis that optimal perception conditions can make the identification and acquisition of new sounds more intelligible.; L'objectif principal de cette étude est de tester la perception de la voyelle /y/ chez des apprenants polonais du FLE, celle-ci n'existant pas, en effet, dans leur système vocalique naturel. Dynamics in Interaction in Bilingual Team Teaching: Examples from a Finnish Preschool Classroom

The current study aims to explore team teaching as it is manifested in bilingual interactional patterns in a preschool classroom in Finland. The data was collected in a preschool classroom where a bilingual pedagogy in Finnish (majority language) and Swedish (minority language) was implemented with monolingual Finnishspeaking children. Vārdu krājuma zināšanām ir svarīga loma komunikācijā svešvalodā. Šī darba mērķis ir parādīt kā izmantojot dažādas mācību metodes ir iespējams palīdzēt vidusskolēniem vārdu krājuma apgūšanā. Lai sasniegtu bakalaura darba galveno mērķi un atbildētu uz pētniecisko jautājumu par to, kura ir visefektīvākā metode jaunu vārdu krājumu mācīšanai, darbā tika veikts literatūras apskats kā teorētiskā metode un empīriskajā daļā tika veikts pētījums, kurā ietilpa stundu vadīšana, ieskaite un anketēšana.
