Clinical Simulation in pediatrics and neonatology using EDISON: an educational innovation project

Introduction: Clinical simulation is a tool that allows creating controlled and safe spaces that mimic reality, where students can acquire skills and abilities prior to facing real situations. Methodology: This is a study with two phases. The first quasi-experimental phase where 3 questionnaires were used; two of them to assess knowledge (pretest - posttest) and the other one to assess the satisfaction of the training action. And the second phase was analytical, where the effectiveness of a training intervention in a confinement context based on the use of audiovisual materials created through EDISON was evaluated. Abstract Introduction The training to learn how to perform perforator flaps requires practice on a living model to optimize dissection and to evaluate outcome. The purpose of this study was to describe a training model that optimizes the use of animals in order to perform the maximum number of exercises per animal. Material and methods The sequence has been planned and practiced by the first and last author, recorded perfected and implemented in a two-day surgical course. Research has shown that outdoor educational interventions can lead to students' increased self-regulated motivational behavior. In this study, we searched into the satisfaction of basic psychological needs (BPN), i.e., autonomy support, the learners' experience of competence, and relatedness, both within the peer group and with their teachers, through outdoor learning. The goal of this study is to analyze and compare aspects of language learning games in the context of Finnish and Hungarian high-school teaching of German as a foreign language (GFL). First, the practices of using games in GFL are investigated. Secondly, the subjective theories of teachers on language learning games are analyzed. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos 2-os klasės mokinių ir jų tėvų įsitikinimų apie lietuvių kalbos mokymąsi sąsajos su mokinių pasiekimais. Nustatyta, kad mokinių įsitikinimai apie savo gebėjimus, susidomėjimas lietuvių kalba, tėvų lūkesčiai bei 2-os klasės pasiekimai tarpusavyje siejasi teigiamais ryšiais. Kontroliuojant vaiko lytį, tėvų išsilavinimą bei 1-os klasės pasiekimus, geresnius pasiekimus 2-oje klasėje prognozuoja aukštesni tėvų lūkesčiai ir geresni vaikų savų gebėjimų vertinimai.
