Background The Temperament Evaluation Memphis, Pisa, Paris and San Diego Auto-questionnaire (TEMPS) is validated to assess temperament in clinical and non-clinical samples. Celem badania było sprawdzenie związków pomiędzy cechami temperamentu wyodrębnionymi przez Pawłowa a preferencjami utworów składających się z określonych elementów muzycznych. W badaniu wzięło udział 145 studentów, w wieku 19-26 lat. W celu określenia cech temperamentu badani wypełnili Kwestionariusz Temperamentu PTS. W celu określenia preferowanego utworu badani wypełnili Kwestionariusz Preferencji Muzycznych. Analiza statystyczna wykazała, że wszystkie cechy temperamentu wyodrębnione przez Pawłowa wykazują związek z określonymi elementami zawartymi w utworach muzycznych preferowanych przez badanych. A listening experiment was arranged to evaluate perceptual preferences between two musical tuning systems: twelve-tone equal temperament (i.e. the current international standard) and twelve fifth-tones tuning. The latter being a system that, according to its author Maria Renold, provides a more accurate and aurally genuine reproduction of musical harmonics. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää lapsen vaikean temperamentin, vanhemman psyykkisen hyvinvoinnin ja vanhemmuustyylien välisiä yhteyksiä. Erityisenä kiinnostuksen kohteena oli tutkia vanhemman psyykkisen hyvinvoinnin muuntavia ja välittäviä vaikutuksia lapsen vaikean temperamentin ja vanhemmuustyylien välillä. Associations of temperament and personality traits with frequency of physical activity in adulthood

Temperament and physical activity (PA) have been examined in children and adolescents, but little is known about these associations in adulthood. Personality traits, however, are known to contribute to PA in adults. This study, which examined both temperament and personality characteristics at age 42 in relation to frequency of PA at age 50 (JYLS, n = 214-261), also found associations with temperament traits. The psychobiological orientation inherent in temperament concepts permits a close tie between temperament and the rapidly proliferating research areas of neurosciences and behavioural genetics. Based on developmental and psychobiological studies, the Adult Temperament Questionnaire (ATQ) by Rothbart measures self-regulatory processes in addition to constitutionally based individual reactivity. Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir pētīt, bērna izvēli starp spēli viedierīcē un attiecību spēli un tās saistību ar bērna temperamentu un vecāku audzināšanas pieeju. Pētījumā piedalījās 35 mātes un 35 bērni vecumā no 6 līdz 7 gadiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki piedalījās novērojumā, lai noteiktu bērna izvēli starp spēli viedierīcē un attiecību spēli. Pētījuma dalībnieki aizpildīja Bērna temperamenta aptauju (ļoti īsā forma) un Ģentes audzināšanas aptauju- vecāku versija (Ghent Parental Behavior Scale (GPBS)), (Van Leeuwen et.al., 2004).
