En este artículo se analiza la diferente reacción que los mercados laborales italiano y español han tenido ante la crisis económica: la tasa de paro italiana entre 2006 y 2012, ha crecido relativamente poco (pasando del 7,6 al 10,9%) mientras que la es-pañola se ha casi triplicado, pasando del 9 al 24,4%. Para ello se han analizado datos relativos a: el mercado del trabajo, la situación socioeconómica y la legislación exis-tente. this contribution is dedicated to the analysis of a particular dish of sicilian, and in particular palermitan, cuisine known as 'rosticceria'. the essay investigates the ambivalent status of such bread dough-based dishes, halfway between street food and other categories of dishes. the analysis concerns both the manner and timing of consumption and the food-object itself from the point of view of its gustatory and sensory characteristics.

The article starts from a conception of language according to which the semiotic units that speakers use do not emanate from individual mental processes but from the socialization of representation instruments which, being individual elements initially, have later been involved in processes of communicative circulation. In the same way that, in each language, verbal uses are limited by a series of restrictions in the constitution of some phonic, lexical or morphosyntactic structures, there are also some other constraints that affect textual genres.
