Tick Bites - the View from Inside-Out

The tick feeding process in humans and its effects on the host skin have been studied histologically on specimens of tick bites, some of which included the attached parasite, and on ticks extracted from lesions or caught in the wild. The specimens, included in paraffin, were stained with hematoxylin-eosin, orcein–Giemsa for elastic fibers, periodic acid-Schiff for polysaccharides, Weigert method for fibrin, Warthin-Starry stain for spirochetes, and Bodian’s method for nerve fibers. Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is an important viral infection of the central nervous system with high morbidity and mortality. With the increase of tourism TBE is becoming a problem also outside endemic regions. Italy is considered a country with low incidence of TBE and geographically restricted to the central and north eastern part of the country. In the south of Italy there is no evidence of disease presence, but neither is there much evidence of its absence. Zemesgrāmatu ieraksta publiskās ticamības princips ir nozīmīgs instruments, kas nodrošina paļāvību personām, ka zemesgrāmatās veiktie ieraksti atbilst patiesajam tiesiskajam stāvoklim. Kā viens no šī principa pamatmērķiem ir labticīgā nekustamā īpašuma ieguvēja aizsardzība. Tomēr pašlaik spēkā esošais tiesiskais regulējums Latvijā neparedz šī principa efektīvu funkcionēšanu praksē. The inequality in access to cyberspace due to age at the beginning of the twenty-first century was followed by an economic crisis that intensified many socio-labor dynamics. Through a contextualization with INE data and a qualitative sample, the following work tries to capture the attitudes about ICT related to their previous labor trajectories on those over 45 years of age; and, on the other hand, its introduction to cyberspace from work as a conditioner in the perception of crisis, the maintenance of employment or their way out to retirement.
