L’impact d’un mode de pilotage capacitant sur la pré-appropriation d’un outil de contrôle de la qualité : le cas d’une accréditation à l’université

Many works in management sciences are interested in the appropriation of management tools. On the other hand, few studies deal with the pre-appropriation phase, particularly of quality control tools. By understanding pre-appropriation as the first representations that the actors build of a tool, we wanted to know if an enabling management mode has an influence on them. An exploratory case study carried out in a component of a French public university, engaged in an AACSB accreditation process, allows us to draw some provisional conclusions: a partial capacitating steering mode influences pre-appropriation by giving rise to contrasting representations.

Urban regions are recognised as driving forces of the global economy as well as the main sources of social inequality. In recent decades, particularly, housing access has become a serious problem, not only for the most disadvantaged population, but also for the middle class, as a result of economic crises and despite of prices decline in the housing market. The wheel of collaboration tools

Paper from the 2006 20th anniversary conference on Computer supported cooperative work We present a holistic framework for analyzing and specifying collaboration solutions, developed by an oil and gas company in response to practical needs in supporting integrated collaboration and information management. A typology of collaboration tool capabilities, termed the Wheel of Collaboration Tools (WCT), is described. We assess its contributions, and discuss areas of application and potential further development. Our intent is to stimulate discussion and research related to this type of collaboration modeling.

A methodological system for hydraulic heritage assessment: a management tool

Traditional irrigation systems are spatial units with a remarkable cultural and heritage value, which in turn generate water landscapes. They are part of hydraulic heritage, which includes material, ideational and symbolic assets. However, the assets related to historical irrigation systems and their landscape units have been poorly studied and evaluated. This paper develops a methodological system for the assessment of hydraulic heritage which combines basic and multi-criteria quantitative techniques. The authors conducted an evaluation of water heritage assets and their associated systems for the purpose of establishing a hierarchy for devising appropriate heritage management actions.
