Objective. The purpose of this glossary is to offer an updated guide to the correct terminology for contrast-enhanced sonography. Methods. This report was prepared by a panel of radiologists from the Sonography Section of the Italian Association of Medical Radiology. A leading author prepared a list of terms based on a comprehensive literature survey. The draft was analyzed by 3 experts on the topic of contrast-enhanced sonography. Este estudio analiza las propiedades psicometricas del MIPS en una muestra espanola de jovenes futbolistas. Participaron 429 futbolistas espanoles con edades comprendidas entre 9 y 13 anos. Coffee increases state anxiety in males but not in females.

Coffee, reproducing the conditions under which caffeine is normally ingested, containing 3, 75, 150 or 300 mg of caffeine was given to healthy male and female volunteers. 25-30 min after drinking the beverage, they completed the Spanish version of the state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI). The beverage increased state anxiety, in a dose-dependent manner, in males but not in females. This could be due to a lesser sensitivity of females to coffee.

Objective. To explore the factorial structure of a Spanish version of the “Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey” (MBI-GS). Material and Methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted in 1999 among 149 municipal policemen in Tenerife, Spain. A questionnaire was applied to collect data on Professional Efficacy, Cynicism, and Burnout. Data were analyzed using factorial analysis and principal components with Varimax rotation. Results. One of the scales developed for its measurement is the Kihon Checklist (KCL). The few translators who have attempted a Spanish verse translation of Goethe’s Faust for the most part fail to do justice to the metrical diversity of Goethe’s play and therefore they either altogether give up the idea of rendering Goethe’s play in poetry, e.g. Pedro Gálvez in 1984, or they create a traditionalist Spanish Faust poem with excessive liberties regarding its content, like, in 1882, Teodoro Llorente.
