This article calls attention to the hybrid genre of voice-based performances and its blending of the supposed binaries of human and machinic speech. Using the concept of panophonia, the author refers to the animatronic sculptures of speaking figures created by Ken Feingold and to Mark Böhlen’s talking robots. Through their comparative analysis, the author explores different poetic metalanguages both artists create to deconstruct communicative structures that demarcate post-human era.

Il libro esplora la multimodalità nel linguaggio attraverso un’analisi comparata delle forme e delle funzioni del gesto nelle lingue vocali e nelle lingue dei segni. Le lingue sono multimodali perché utilizzano diversi tipi di indici gestuali nell’espressione linguistica veicolando dimensioni del significato che spesso sono assenti nel parlato o nel flusso segnico. A partire da Pagliaro e Belardi, padri fondatori degli studi italiani di fonetica greca, prevale la convinzione che lo specifico del linguaggio umano non si trovi su base fonetica. Spcifico del linguaggio sarebbe 'non la fonicità nè l'articolazione ma la funzione simbolica. Attraverso l'analisi minuziosa delle opere di Aristotele, il contributo si propone di sfatare questo mito. Medical texts (reports, articles, etc.) are usually written by professionals (physicians, medical researchers, etc.) who use their own language and communication style. On the other hand, these texts are often read by health consumers (as in the case of medical reports) who do not have the same skills and vocabularies of the experts and can have difficulties in text comprehension. To help a health consumer in understanding a medical text, it would be desirable to have an automatic system that, given a text written with medical (technical) terms, translates them in simple or plain language and provides additional information with the same kind of language. Background and aim: In Norway, a large part of the population is dependent on disability benefits. The main reasons for this are related to long-term musculoskeletal pain and psychological complaints. Prevocational rehabilitation, aimed at increasing participation in working life, targets people in need of a sheltered vocational environment. This group has been found to report a very high level of health complaints. ABSTRACT Nicastrese is an indigenous Italian goat breed reared in the Calabria region under semi-extensive practices. From January to June, the milk yield of 400 multiparous Nicastrese goats was evaluated. In addition, tank milk and ripened cheese samples were subjected to physico-chemical and microbiological analyses with the aim to assess the effect of the seasonality on quality parameters. The volatile organic compounds profile of the ripened Nicastrese cheese samples was evaluated. Results showed that the seasonality had a significant effect on milk fat, lactose, urea, citric acid contents and acidity. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on selvittää miten Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) nimistä tanskalaista laulutekniikkaa voidaan hyödyntää lukion musiikinopetuksen laulunopetuksessa. Kyseistä laulutekniikkaa käytetään niin pop/jazz-laulun, kuin klassisen laulunkin opetuksessa. Se on selkeä, yksinkertainen ja monenlaiset oppijat huomioon ottava laulutekniikka, jonka avulla opiskelijat voivat oppia ymmärtämään laulamista ja rohkaistua käyttämään omaa ääntään.
