International audience; Auch nach dem Waffenstillstand wird der Erste Weltkrieg in der Berliner Illustrirten Zeitung (BIZ)-einem der ersten illustrierten Massenblätter-weiter thematisiert. Bei der Untersuchung dieses mediatisierten Krieges wird der Frage nachgegangen, was diese Bilderwelt über die fortschrittlichen Erwartungen, Ängste und Hoffnungen in der Weimarer Republik aussagt. Dabei geht hervor, dass die BIZ nach der anfänglichen Bekundung eines gewissen Wohlwollens gegenüber den ehemaligen Feinden zu Beginn des Jahres 1919 bald in einen bitteren Ton umschlägt, als die Friedensbedingungen bekannt gegeben werden. Testowane w prezentowanym badaniu hipotezy zostały sformułowane w oparciu Model Osobowościowo-Aksjologiczny MOA B. Mróz, który zakłada, że poczucie jakości życia u pracowników wyższego szczebla jest uwarunkowane takimi wymiarami osobowościowo-aksjologicznymi, jak: struktura potrzeb, przystosowanie, osiągnięcia i wartości. W badaniach zastosowano: Test ACL, Wskaźnik Osiągnięć Zawodowych WOZ, Test Niedokończonych Zdań (RISB), Skalę Wartości Rokeacha oraz Kwestionariusz Poczucia Jakości Życia (KPJŻ). During and after the First World War, discourses calling for constitutional reform pervaded Europe. The break-up of the continental empires, the emergence of the new nation-states, and the western calls for democratization collectively gave rise to transnational debates about parliamentarization and parliamentary government. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitettiin lasten käsityksiä Star Wars -ilmiöstä yhdessä esiopetusryhmässä. Tutkimuksen viitekehys koostui lasten kuluttajuustutkimuksen ja fanitutkimuksen tarkastelusta. Aineistonkeruu toteutettiin haastattelemalla lapsia pienryhmissä. Lasten käsitykset Star Warsista luokiteltiin aineistolähtöisellä sisällönanalyysillä ja johtopäätökset tehtiin luokittelun perusteella. Ryhmän pojat korostivat käsityksissään Star Warsin merkitystä leikeissä, sosiaalisissa suhteissa ja erilaisissa materiaaleissa, kuten vaatteissa. The depth of the mixed layer is a major determinant of nutrient and light availability for phytoplankton in stratified waterbodies. Ongoing climate change influences surface waters through meteorological forcing, which modifies the physical structure of fresh waters including the mixed layer, but effects on phytoplankton biomass are poorly known. To determine the responses of phytoplankton biomass to the depth of the mixed layer, light availability and associated meteorological forcing, we followed daily changes in weather and water column properties in a boreal lake over the first half of a summer stratification period. The author suggests a possible use of postmemory to analyse the contemporary family memory of the people of Silesia. Their memoirs about WW2 (such as working for the Wehrmacht, the Red Army invading Silesia, working in labour camps, nationality verification, displacements to Germany, and deportations to Siberia) bear signs of latent memory which is rarely revealed even to the next of kin. Present mainly within the family circle, within the local society, and among friends, these memoirs integrated Silesians and made them a unique community that considers itself a stigmatized minority.
