Kiedy w 1908 r. w Cieszowej, jednej z najstarszych gmin żydowskich na Górnym Śląsku, wystawiono budynki rozwiązanego kahału do licytacji, ks. Karl Urban (1864-1923), proboszcz parafii św. Józefa w Sadowie, do której należała również i sama Cieszowa, z własnych środków zakupił synagogę wraz z zabudowaniami, chroniąc je w ten sposób od nieuchronnej likwidacji. Cieszowa była jedną z czterech wiosek na Górnym Śląsku, w których kazano zamieszkać Żydom w czasie pruskich zakazów osiedleńczych, wydawanych w latach 70. i 80. XVIII w. First report on the helminthfauna of the yellow-necked mouse, Apodemus flavicollis, in the Iberian Peninsula

Summary Information about the prevalence of helminth parasites of the yellow-necked mouse, Apodemus flavicollis, in the Iberian Peninsula is almost non-existent and there is no reliable data reported from Spain. Fourteen A. flavicollis from the Erro River valley (Navarre, Spain) were examined for endoparasites, between February 2001 and July 2002. Thirteen specimens (92.9 %) of the total sample were parasitized by at least one of the following six helminth species: one trematode (Corrigia vitta), one cestode (Taenia parva larvae) and four nematodes (Trichuris muris, Calodium hepaticum, Heligmosomoides polygyrus and Syphacia stroma). This paper presents the results of a cyber-ethnographic study. The research analyzes the dynamics that make, calm and increase the radicalization narratives. This study is part of the Oltre project (ISF - DG Migration and Home Affairs, EU) which directly involved 42 Italian and second generation youths in the dissemination and moderation of an online communication campaign in order to prevent radicalized behaviors. This paper illustrates how the young “moderators” interacted each other, highlighting how counter-narratives can represent useful tools for deconstructing "complex" issues such as radicalization. Changes of meaning due to changes of articles: A study of singular count nouns in post-verbal position in Italian

'Essi fecero un muro' vs. 'Essi fecero muro': on the surface, these Italian sentences differ only for the presence of an article before the post-verbal noun (PVN) 'muro', literally 'wall'. Despite this minor divergence, their VPs vary greatly in meaning: the former can be rendered as 'They built a wall', the latter as 'They put up resistance'. In Italian, many other nouns behave as 'muro' does above. The meanings come from distinct structures: PVNs preceded by an article are direct objects. Bare PVNs, at times the very same noun, can either pass tests for direct object-hood or show distinct syntactic ties with the verb.

In the present thesis both ab initio and analytical calculations were carried out for thepotential energy, dipole moment and polarizability surfaces of the weakly bound van der Waals complexes CH4-N2 and C2H4-C2H4 for a broad range of intermolecular separations and configurations in the approximation of the rigid interacting molecules. For ab initio calculations the CCSD(T), CCSD(T)-F12 and less computationally expensive methods such as MP2, MP2-F12, SAPT, DFT-SAPT were employed (for all methods the aug-cc-pVTZ basis set was used). Maģistra darba mērķis - noskaidrot, kāda ir lauksaimniecības marginalizācijas ietekme uz aizsargājamo zālāju saglabāšanos Latvijā. Pētījums aptver visu Latviju. Izmantoti dabisko zālāju izplatības dati uz 2015. gadu un dati par lauksaimniecības zemju apsaimniekošanu 2017.gadā, kā arī augšņu kvalitātes dati. Datu analīze veikta 5 x5 km tīkla šūnā, analīzei izmantojot aprakstošo statistiku (Manna-Vitnija U-tests) un veikta daudzfaktoru regresijas analīze ar Tweedie modeļa datu sadalījumu. 2015.gadā Latvijā aizsargājamie zālāji aizņēma 0,77 % (50 156 ha) no valsts teritorijas.
