Legionella pneumophila izplatība un sekvenču tipu daudzveidība Latvijas viesnīcu ūdensapgādes sistēmās

Legionella pneumophila ir nosacīti patogēna, dabiskās un mākslīgi radītās saldūdens ūdenskrātuvēs sastopama baktērija, kas spēj izraisīt infekcijas slimību – legionelozi. Lai noskaidrotu L. pneumophila izplatību Latvijā, no 40 viesnīcu ūdensapgādes sistēmām noņemti 240 karstā ūdens paraugi un testēti uz L. pneumophila klātbūtni. No pētījumā iesaistītajām viesnīcām 25 (65 %) viesnīcās konstatēts vismaz viens Legionella pozitīvs paraugs. Maksimālais L. pneumophila koloniju veidojošo vienību skaits vienā paraugā bija 1,1 x 104 kvv/l. Ar MALDI-TOF MS apstiprināti 99 L. pneumophila un 9 L. rubrilucens izolāti. Photoluminescence properties of S2 molecule trapped in Melanophlogite

We studied the photoluminescence properties of a sample of SiO2-clathrate Melanophlogite, a crystalline microporous material which is found in nature as a rare mineral. Upon β irradiation, the material displays an intense light emission under near-UV illumination. We studied in detail this optical activity by steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence measurements as a function of temperature. Ferulago nodosa (L.) Boiss. (Apiaceae) is a species occurring in the Balkan-Tyrrhenian area being present in Crete, Greece, Albania, and probably in Macedonia. Although the western disjointed population of Sicily has been classified as an endemic sub-species, F. nodosa subsp. geniculata (Guss.) Troia & Raimondo, its official acceptance is quite controversial. We introduce some of the most common types of high-frequency financial data: tick-by-tick data, trade andquote data, order bookdata, andmarket member data. We describe the types of variables that are usually available in the most popular high-frequency financial databases. We discuss the issues related to the handling of these data, including cleaning protocols, timing issues, and issues related to data size. We then briefly consider the issues related to the stylized facts detected in the empirical analysis of high- frequency data.
