The essay deals with a State aid case between companies belonging to the same corporate group. To clarify the concepts of ‘State resources’ and the misure imputable to the State, the essay suggests framing the concrete case within the framework of the so-called “in-house” company. This does not rule out the application of the private investor test in normal market conditions, which – if disregarded – can overcome the indistinction typical of “in-house” companies.
Adaptación al castellano y estructura factorial del Denison Organizational Culture Survey

[EN]: This article presents a Spanish adaptation of the Denison Organizational Culture Survey, a questionnaire designed to evaluate organizational culture. This survey consists of 60 items, grouped in 12 subscales, which identify 4 cultural dimensions. These dimensions have been widely studied and their influence in organizational effectiveness has been accepted. This adaptation was applied to 488 participants, and analysed with confirmatory factor analysis. Results show adequate psychometric properties, so it can be concluded that the Spanish adaptation almost completely replicates the structure of the original version in English. © 2009 Psicothema.

The article presents the work "Dubai Pop-Up. Architecture in a transient city", the result of an international design workshop (coordinated by T. Aglieri Rinella and R. Garcia Rubio) which brought the Dubai question to the center, bringing together a large number of teachers and students to think how to introduce new ways of thinking about the city. Thanks to the diversified and sometimes surprising hypotheses that the projects developed suggest, it is clear how open the degree of alternatives to that development model only oriented on the “monoculture of profit” that has guided urban choices in this city up to now can still be.
Paternal masculinities in early fatherhood: dominant and counter narratives by Finnish first-time fathers

In this article, we seek to extend understanding of the role of gender in early fatherhood by examining narratives of paternal masculinities, that is, the social and cultural constructions of gendered practices and conventions produced by men on their roles as male parents. The data comprised interviews with 44 Finnish first-time fathers (aged 20-42 years) living in a heterosexual relationship. The narrative of the “decent father,” was identified as the dominant narrative of paternal masculinity in early fatherhood. Objective measures and documentation are increasingly used in the care for older people to promote efficiency and productivity. A standardised assessment of functional capacity is one such measure. In this study, we examined the meanings given to standardised functional assessment by care workers who provide long-term care for older people. Gathered from eight Finnish long-term care facilities, the data consisted of one-on-one interviews with practical and registered nurses (n = 24). In Finland, one of the Nordic countries, shared parenting is widely supported through, e.g. family policies and legislation. This is also evident in daily parental practices, as fathers’ share in childcare has increased notably since the late 1980s.
