El objetivo de mi tesis doctoral es el estudio de los dominios transmembrana (TMD) de las proteínas de la familia Bcl-2. La principal función de esta familia de proteínas es la regulación del proceso apoptótico (1,2). Para Ello, se establece un balance de interacciones proteína-proteína entre los miembros pro- y antiapoptóticos de esta familia proteica (3,4). Nuestra hipótesis de trabajo postula que los fragmentos transmembrana de dichas proteínas pueden estar implicados no sólo en su localización subcelular sino también en el establecimiento de la red de interacciones entre proteínas Bcl-2 así como en el desarrollo de su función apoptótica.. ObjectiveTo investigate the levels and correlates of physical activity during COVID-19 social distancing in a sample of the UK public.MethodsThis paper presents analyses of data from a cross-sectional study. Levels of physical activity during COVID-19 social distancing were self-reported. Participants also reported on sociodemographic and clinical data. The association between several factors and physical activity was studied using regression models.ResultsNine hundred and eleven adults were included (64.0% were women and 50.4% of the participants were aged 35–64 years). 75.0% of the participants met the physical activity guidelines during social distancing. International audience; As one of the fashionable techniques for nuclear spectroscopy experiments, the beam manipulation in gas-filled Penning traps permits the accurate measurement of some of the ground state properties of exotic nuclides. It was recently applied using REXTRAP for the measurement of the half-life of 38Ca, one of the 0+ → 0+ β-decaying nuclide of interest for the determination of the Ft value for super-allowed transitions, and the test of the unitarity of the CKM matrix. The experimental setup and the original method of beam purification adopted for this measurement is presented.
