On the Study of Resonance Interactions and Splittings in the PH3 Molecule: ν1, ν3, ν2+ν4, and 2ν4 Bands

International audience; The high-resolution (0.005 cm−1) Fourier transform infrared spectrum of PH3 is recorded and analyzed in the region of the fundamental stretching bands, ν1 and ν3. The ν2 + ν4 and 2ν4 bands are taken into account also. Experimental transitions are assigned to the ν1, ν3, ν2 + ν4, and 2ν4 bands with the maximum value of quantum number J equal to 15, 15, 13, and 15, respectively. a1–a2 splittings are observed and described up to the value of quantum number K equal to 10. The analysis of a1/a2 splittings is fulfilled with a Hamiltonian model which takes into account numerous resonance interactions among all the upper vibrational states
Quantum stress tensor for extreme 2D Reissner-Nordström black holes

Contrary to previous claims, it is shown that the expectation values of the quantum stress tensor for a massless scalar field propagating on a two-dimensional extreme Reissner-Nordstrom black hole are indeed regular on the horizon.

An automated column-switching method coupled to isocratic high-performance liquid chromatography has been developed for simultaneous determination of blood levels of paroxetine and its nonconjugated main metabolite BRL 36610. The lower limits of detection were 9-15 nmol/L (3-5 ng/ml) and linearity between drug concentration and detector response was found for 0-1,500 nmol/L (0-500 ng/ml). The method could be applied to the analysis of serum samples obtained from depressed patients who were treated with daily oral doses of 20 or 40 mg of paroxetine. This paper deals with the controller synthesis for a class of positive two-dimensional (2D) switched delay systems described by the Roesser model. This kind of systems has the property that the states take nonnegative values whenever the initial boundaries are nonnegative, some delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of positive 2D switched systems with state delays are given.
